Genuinely a great way of approaching universal design. Akin as to how one could strip Lego figures of all their characteristics and be left with a yellow humanoid creature. Then Jeb decided to ruin the entire purpose and add Alex and her model for trannies to feel slightly less aggravated towards their blocky shoulders. And then Microsoft to add literally all the colours under the sun. As an intelligent man would say; “An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity”. - I still stand in my original post. The human model is intended to represent a Human Being. Not a male Human Being or a female Human Being, but simply a Human Being. The blocky shape gives it a bit of a traditional masculine look, but adding a separate female mesh would just make it worse by having one specific model for female Human Beings and male ones. That would force players to make a decisions about gender in a game where gender doesn’t even exist.
If you were to look at shows of the time, it’s such a milquetoast view towards trannies compared to what the general consensus is now.Seems like a reasonable stance in 2012 to have, while woke was still upcoming and SJWs were mostly confined to tumblr. Halfway through Obama. Trannies were still "weird, but you do you".
