It's supposed to be the tranny suicide bridge lol

Nujang hates its playerbase, especially the java players who can have MODS FOR FREE (shareholders weep)
I'd say it's more that Java players can change versions on a whim too, and don't have to be predicated on using the latest version continually. Bedrock players weep.

anything but an end update
They did, it's called The End, and they refuse to add anything more to it after the End Cities.

She legit teased the audience with that exact thing before being like “nah”. I guess tranny dimension took priority.

"They don't let you kill the Warden because no feats of heroism are allowed in modernity"
If I haven't played MC in like 15 years is it a fun little revisit still?
No, but you can download PolyMC or whatever mod launcher, go to curseforge and sort by downloads, pick any modpack and just play it for some fun.

Maybe autistic of me but I honestly am just continuously disappointed with every single update minecraft does; yes, it is the ultimate sandbox, but minecraft has always had this ghost-in-the-machine feel to me back in the day with the slightly janky look and limited features. I kind of liked it back then, but everyone says that. Sift update just feels like the biggest nail in the coffin of what "modern minecraft" is, with that being (most likely) useless shit in varying complimenting colors for the sake of decorating.

Minecraft these days does this weird tightrope walk between troonslop pink pastel housebuilder sandbox and the old traditional explorative risk-and-reward sandbox... it kind of baits you into thinking there's more to the game than there is, I don't know. You'd expect fishing and cooking and orchardworks in a troonslop game but you don't get that. You'd expect better horsemanship and engagement with tools and maps and storage systems in an exploration game but that's not there either. Minecraft is a weird homonculus of both and neither so it's just kind of boring bloatware now.

Yeah the market that wanted this aspect of MC explored more thoroughly has been so underserved for so long that they left and made their own game called Vintage story which has it's own problems but you'd probably get a kick out of.
