Minecraft

If I recall, that's exactly what happened in the official kiwi server. Also, I'll probably join if I'm feeling up for it.
what kiwi server? the anarchy one or the one that jersh planned to make?
although i do agree on the 2nd comment, the nether got a big update and i'm only playing 1.15 because of the mine and slash mod, if it had for newer versions i'd definitely go for them, newer versions being light on my computer is a plus though when compared to my 1.15 or even 1.12 base vanilla... plus there's a resourcepack that restores 99% of the old programmer art too so no complaints but damn i liked mine and slash, it encourages you to combat rather than seeing it as a nuisance, pair it up with infernalmobs, battletowers and mutant beats to make it even better.
Ah, you seem to have already covered everything I can think of lol

If this ever goes anywhere I might join, it sounds like this could be a pretty fun server. I don't know any Kiwis personally but surely we can all get along enough to do some gay block game shit?

I also eagerly await seeing multiple swastikas everywhere at spawn
i just remembered that because i lurk in a few chans and they do that as a retard filter, they also have a name blacklist that you can't use, ever because these nicknames are tied to some retarded acts.

I'm tempted to make a technic pack specifically for Kiwis. I'm open to recommendations. What version would you want it to be ? What mods interest you the most ? I'm personally interested by making a vanilla plus styled modpack mixed with a few big mods that add less "vanilla like" content.

I'm a big fan of Tetra. It's a tool mod similar to Tinkers Construct, but a lot more vanilla and well thought out in its design.

I disagree how tetra is like TiC, that's about it tbh although the 1.18 version of TiC is underway according to the tic page.
Some people shill Create though and i cannot give my opinion as i stay away from such mods because if i want to make bread i can just put three wheats rather than build a mill then mill the wheat into flour powder than mix flour powder + milk + salt into dough then put it in the oven for 3 hours real time to make a damn bread.
Is thaumcraft good for MP? seems like a "craft your majics" mod would be fine too.

If you like the style of the mod? Sure. The research table is going to be a pain to use without using an add on mod to skip it, though.

Although, if you're looking for a "Craft your majics" mod in the modern versions, you should look into Ars Noveau.

nigga i didn't want to visit curseforge but there's plenty of mods for 1.19 lately.
1.18 seemed to be the main target of the lastest wave of mod updates though.

I've given up on modding anything past 1.12 because of the shitshow of a billion tranny mod loaders. Also I use programmer art because I hate the new art style and all the new mods use the new artstyle so I have to manually patch them to use textures from the older versions of the mods if they even exist.

Maybe there's a million in 1.13, but 1.14 and later there's only Fabric and Forge, and Fabric is better. Apparently so much better the trannies screeched at the creator for "transphobia" or whatever and forked it to create Quilt.

so far what i could find on reddit is people calling quilt a modloader for people that want to politics rather than mod, lol.
still i don't even get why fabric exists in the first place other than people saying it's easy to mod blablabla but forge still gets things going no problem, it's fucking retarded, really.

From what i remember fabric is actually stable and isn't as much spaghetti code as forge is, but it isnt the 2nd coming of Christ either.

I've messed with Minecraft modding before on both Fabric and Forge, and Fabric is just a lot better to work with in general no matter if you mod or develop. Forge is a general ass to deal with as a developer, and Fabric feels better supported, more stable, and easier to make things compatible. It's also pretty lightweight, while Forge needs a progress bar just to tell you it's loading.
Funny how competent people make better shit.

There's is only one thing I needed to convince me that fabric is better than forge:

Fabric has a functioning mod list (via an addon mod) as opposed to forge needing me to manually tweak the notepads.

Concerning the KiwiPack, I have taken into account that people may want to set up servers. This is why I'm gravitating towards either 1.12.2 or 1.16.5.

1.16 is sleek and consumes less ram than 1.12 although mod variety is smaller, still a couple of other things can be done with bukkit packages too and usually don't conflict with mods.

Update on the Kiwi pack: I have settled on a 1.12.2. Modpack currently contains performance mods (like FoamFix and CensoredASM), QoL mods (including backported features like Aqua acrobatics), some vanilla style mods (Spartan Weaponry and Shields, Yung's better Caves) and a few less vanilla-style mods like Techguns and Warforge.

If 1.12.2 goes nowhere, I know some guys who have experience with 1.7.10 mods like Flans and MCHeli (plus more recent ones).

Been wanting to play lately but I'm not using Microsoft DRM bullshit, any way to get around that and if not is there a good source for cracked Minecraft for linux?

Also i've noticed one thing, forge 1.17+ requires you to have a minecraft account so it can build a forge version jar, unless you work hard to find a way around it you cannot play pirated minecraft from that version and above, coincidentally it's also where fabric literally "booms" in popularity, including quilt.

If you don't make it compatible with 3GB- machines i'm dragging your ass to brazil, add industrial foregoing with turret logistics too, it's a separate mod and won't conflict with warforge.

Install gentoo, ops i meant windows and download UltimMC or NET.Launcher, don't try TLauncher as it has a spyware, honest, ditch linux because minecraft was bought by microsoft or lose time googling how to find a cracked launcher for the penguin.

"Play Minecraft on Windows" is probably the worst solution as I'm primarily trying to avoid their telemetry. It'd make more sense to just use the Linux version as is.
