Minecraft

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The code of conduct and all that shit has been injected into "neo"forge. I found out the same thing that happened to polymc happened to forge too (all but lex moved to "neo"forge). So now the forge 'team' is just 1 guy.
Although to be fair to Neoforge (I have yet to use it), Lex was holding the project back and was a massive sperg. If the devs play their cards right, they can make Neoforge's future bright, so long as they focus on the mod loader development rather than sperging about politics.
There are now 4 modloaders.
More like 2 mod loaders, Forge and Fabric are pretty much the only ones people use. Quilt is dead and the only major mod maker is that faggot rat in a maid outfit who refuses to work on anything other than Quilt (because he fell for the "Fabric is transphobic" drama) and most mods he made were either paywalled or for specific JewTubers. Neoforge is still irrelevant in the grand scheme of things with their only hope being that Lex gives up and/or they get Fabric compatibility, which is technically already a thing with Sinytra Connector so eh. Fabric is still not even close to the level of popularity Forge has, and Fabric exclusive mods only drive people away and one towards obscurity, the bane of egotistical Mod Authors.
There will never be another version like 1.7.10. Maybe that's a good thing given it would just be infested with this tranny shit anyway.
Golden ages never last.
They never change the configs either, so shit like mekanism breaks the balance of all the other tech mods.
This is very common, it's much easier to just throw shit in a mod pack and call it a day while making the presentation good. Normies will flock to it like moths to a flame, look at RLCraft and Lunapixel mod packs.

This is news to me, quilt had no technical reason to exist so I'm glad it's dead. Who is this faggot rat?

I've seen alot of people talking about the "big mods" moving to neoforge, if that happens I'd expect small mods to follow the big mods.
It seems like mekanism has changed to neoforge, which is not a surprise in the slightest.

Who is this faggot rat?
Doctor4t, his technical skill is fantastic, only found him via his Mr.Beast competition mod (something went wrong so he released it to the public) but only a quick look around his media platforms and I immediately dismissed him as some normie faggot. I suspect he'll be a troon in the future, assuming he hasn't started already. His most well known mod I mentioned feels more like a Bedrock addon then anything, and it's a mod where you pretty much have to use it by itself as it's a single player story mod. Again, technically impressive but not something you add to some mod pack. I have noticed he's started to make/going back to making Fabric versions...probably from the lack of attention. Though some are for 1.19 only:story:

PLEASE DO NOT ADD THIS MOD TO YOUR SMP! It is intended to be played through a single time on a new world, using only the required dependencies.

Lol why would you do that? I get it for something like NightmareCraft but at least they made modules so you can use them however you want. Shame it's unbalanced to hell and back.

Q: Why Quilt? Why not Forge or Fabric?

A: Short answer: some utilities and libraries I need for my mods are only available for Quilt. I also do not wish to continue supporting loaders led by transphobes / racists / horrible people in general, especially when a better product like Quilt exists. If you want the long version of it, it's here.

Now if you want the long version...
I don't have any problem dissociating a project from the person behind it when that project is the best there is, however, Fabric's lead dev's transphobia genuinely got in the way of code contributions that would've been great additions to the loader's API (these contributions being made by trans people). Certain systems like the custom biome, dimension or multipart APIs of Fabric have a lot of problems and sometimes straight up don't work, while these issues have been fixed on Quilt.

For Forge, it's not so much about the devs being bad people, it's more that the way Forge does things and forces modders to do things in a particular (and in my opinion, complicated) way genuinely got me to quit modding before I switched to Fabric when it first came out. On top of that, Forge devs have in the past caused me and my friends quite a bit of trouble and unfortunate interactions, and when I did allow Forge ports of my mods to be made, I would have people come to me regarding issues on the Forge version, which I had nothing to do with.

Additionally, Quilt has a bigger team, and I personally know most of the devs. Therefore, I can also try to help by directly giving feedback or contributions to them if need be, unlike with Fabric or Forge. To also quote a friend I completely agree with: "The argument of "X modloader has no popular mods ergo no popular mods should move to it" is circular and, to put it bluntly, a tad idiotic. I've heard it with Fabric before, and as I did not listen previously I will not listen now. Quilt is a modloader that I can trust the development team of, and thus I develop on it."

If you're upset about the mod not being available to you because you don't wanna use Quilt, I can understand that. However, please also understand that if it weren't for Quilt, I probably wouldn't have updated my mod anyway, so you're technically not missing out on anything! Ultimately, whether or not you want to use this mod is entirely your choice, so do not play victim and put the blame on me if you do not wish to go through the steps to play with it.

Finally, I mod for myself above all, releasing my mods is just a bonus I provide for free. This is a hobby that should stay enjoyable, and altough I'm trying my best to keep it that way, it's becoming harder and harder as time passes due to entitled players and the incredibly toxic modding community. This is my work, my mod, and I am free to do whatever I want with it. If I don't want it to be available for loaders I dislike and don't want to support, I am free to make that choice without having to justify it. However, I still hope this explanation gives a little more insight and helps you understand!

🐀❤️
Like I said, massive faggot.

What did the Fabric devs even do?
That's the thing, I have no fucking idea. Just people calling them transphobic, I think they banned political discussion including gender politics and people chimped out but I doubt it. There were a lot of lies involving the Fabric dev "Player" or something and "the majority of vasts Fabric devs support Quilt" which is blatantly false. Someone else said that the Admin was transphobic which I found nothing of the sort. This isn't surprising considering they lied about many things they disagree with, such as claiming PolyMC's dev is transphobic (he just saw the cancer growing and decided no politics, the other devs are the ones who screeched and left because of it, if they can't grow the cancer they flee very quickly) and that the launcher was actually Malware so people don't use it. Even now I still hear that. All I can find about the Fabric devs being transphobic was just random claims with no proof, usually by-guess fucking who-Doctor4t. There was even a news article on Medium but there's not even any fucking links! I'm even running out of relevant hits on my search engines and found someone on Git for Opal complaining about some incredibly based contributor being "transphobic" (they're a tranny so of course they're screeching, something something chronic hemorrhoids) in which they were BTFO'd immediately. The "transphobe" in question seems pretty alright judging from his Twitter.
IIRC fabric dev called "Player" did a wrongthink and made the trannies feel unsafe.
Here is a screenshot list I found, it seems pretty biased and retarded though: https://gist.github.com/leo60228/7a185bea0ac0a7f16b0f393cd888f08d
Christ that's just a lot of garbage. I've seen Lolcow threads less hyper-autistically extensive than this...one fucking reply l o l. No one cared, as usual. The more time these degenerates start going after nonsense, taking possibly weeks of their time writing up such absolutely autistic drivel with no real meaning beyond "HE'S ISN'T A SLAVE TO OUR IDEOLOGY, GET 'EM!" means less time spent trying to groom someone (most likely a child) so I'm all for it.

Even after srcolling around a little bit I didn't see any images of what player had posted or said, just people taking screenshots of him responding to bullshit and using it as 'evidence', then complaining that he wouldn't post internal discussion, which is entirely within his rights.

There is also UltimMC, which is an offline version of MultiMC. I personally use this despite owning a premium account.
I should also point out that UltimMC and PloyMC are functionaly identical if you want to just play the block game
Just make sure you Copy over your worlds before deleting an instance. Don't want to lose your worlds and be set back by a month like I did lol

You warned me, but I didn't believe it. This is charting new territory in retardation. Any time anyone starts whining about your contributors/staff being problematic is a blaring klaxon to ban them immediately, and then anyone who complains, because they're trying to pull a mutiny.

Quilt
Quilt is a fork of fabric because one or some of the devs said something (cant find specifically what it was). It was either saying something that the troons didn't like or telling them that progressive bullshit is irrelivent to development. This was posted on the fabric discord.
Troons got mad and a fork was created. Along with a website to go with it: https://quiltmc.org

https://quiltmc.org/en/community/code-of-conduct/ - https://archive.is/jHIaH
This Code of Conduct applies to anyone that makes use of a space managed by the Quilt team. Not having read the Code of Conduct is not a valid excuse for breaking it, and all members of the community will be held to this standard.

Our Pledge

We as community members, contributors, and team members pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender identity & expression, nationality, physical or mental disabilities or differences (regardless of intensity), politics, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socio-economic status or subcultural affiliation.
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments
  • Personal or political attacks
  • Threats of violence, or violent acts towards others
  • Public or private harassment
  • Intentionally dead-naming or misgendering others
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or email address, without their explicit permission ("doxxing")
  • Gatekeeping others' access to mental health or accessibility tools
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any unacceptable forms of behavior
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces (both online and offline)
This Code of Conduct applies to all projects, repositories and community spaces that are managed by Quilt, regardless of whether or not the use of this code is explicitly called out. We also reserve the right to retroactively enforce this Code of Conduct when community members violate it in spaces not managed by Quilt.

https://quiltmc.org/en/community/ - https://archive.md/is2qb

Methodology

Quilt's official community spaces exist to address issues in the wider modding community as much as the rest of the project does. While it's certainly true that no large project should be without official community spaces, we had several specific intentions in mind while creating it:

  • To build inclusivity and diversity into policy from the beginning, creating a safe community for minority groups as best we can
  • To create a plural-friendly space by including tools like PluralKit from a very early stage
  • To get the community involved in community and policy decisions, allowing their voices to be heard and using their input to shape our spaces
  • To act with transparency where possible and reasonable without trying to hide our actions, and explaining moderation decisions when asked about them
  • To provide room for defensive moderation tools, and investigative moderation approaches -- allowing our staff to react to issues in the wider modding community, and solve problems before they're apparent to the userbase

https://quiltmc.org/en/community/nsfw-policy/ - https://archive.md/rfxnI
While it's true that Discord (and most other social media platforms) require their users to be at least 13 years of age, it's become clear that using common age-specific ratings for media (for example, PG-13) is not sufficient for our community. As the way people define NSFW content varies wildly depending on the individual and context, this document seeks to define what that term means for our community, and thus what content is unacceptable in our spaces.

Gender-Affirming Surgery

"Gender-affirming surgery" refers to surgeries that may be undertaken by trans people in order to physically affirm their gender (and expression thereof), if they wish. This includes things like sexual reassignment surgery (SRS), facial feminization surgery (FFS), facial masculinization surgery (FMS), and so on.

While it's true that cis people also occasionally undertake gender-affirming surgeries, this is considerably easier to for them to obtain when compared to trans people. If you're cis and are undertaking (or have undertaken) surgeries like this then your related discussions still come under this definition, but our policies largely focus on trans people, as they suffer from far more related discrimination -- medical, political, and otherwise.

NSFW? What's That?

NSFW is short for "Not Safe For Work". This term, along with NSFL ("Not Safe For Life"), are often used online to denote content that you either wouldn't show to your boss, or wouldn't show to anyone -- acting as loose definitions for content that either belongs in specific spaces, or doesn't belong anywhere.

Generally speaking:

  • NSFW includes: Suggestive content, porn, etc
  • NSFL includes: Animal abuse, gore (including any visible internal organs/tissue), vore, suicide, serious injuries, body horror, etc
Additionally, SFW ("Safe For Work") and SFL ("Safe For Life") can be used as opposing designations for content that definitely doesn't come under the designations of NSFW or NSFL respectively.

NSFL content is (and always will be) roundly banned at Quilt, aside from users seeking support from each other regarding how they feel about it, or for things that have happened to them. With NSFW content, though, the devil's in the details -- this term is loose by design, and they way it's applied differs greatly depending on the people, situation, and content in question.

Moderation Policy

First and foremost, we'd like to point out that we're not trying to be the fun police. Our community is host to a diverse range of people with many backgrounds, and some of them may suffer from panic attacks or other strong reactions to NSFW content. We believe that these people have a place in our community, and we'd like to make it as welcoming for them as we can.
It's important to us that everyone on our staff teams prioritizes individual safety and mental health above their work, but we'll still do our best to respond to reports and issues in a timely fashion.

https://quiltmc.org/en/community/pluralkit/ - https://archive.md/wJN2r
Note: This document is specific to Discord. If you're not making use of our community spaces on Discord, PluralKit won't be available.
The primary function of PluralKit is automatically proxying messages that people using it send, in order to make those messages appear to come from someone else.

Plurality?

Plurality is the concept of multiple people sharing a single body, inhabiting the same brain. Many people's first (or only) experience with this is from people with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), but there are many other situations that can cause something like this to happen -- and in many cases, the existence of a plurality is not problematic or negative. As More Than One states:
In general, a group of plural entities sharing one body tends to be known as a plural system.

When interacting with plural people, remember to treat each individual member of a plural system with respect. Don't pathologise their identity (for example, by asking to meet the "real" person or suggesting that they need to be "cured"), and remember that many plural people consider their identity more a matter of philosophy than of medicine. Additionally, treat each system member as separate people, with their own memories, experiences and personality -- If they ask you to treat them in a specific way, listen to them and follow their lead as best you can.

It's also worth noting that plurality is a whole world and plural systems often greatly differ from each other, sometimes identifying or manifesting themselves in completely different ways. All plural systems are valid, regardless of how their members identify or interact, how they were formed, or how they think about themselves.

https://quiltmc.org/en/community/rules/ - https://archive.md/18mHM
  • Projects must not break laws, including copyright laws -- this includes piracy tools (including mods that use projects like youtube-dl for in-game music streaming) and hacked clients, as well as projects that fail to adhere to the licenses of other projects to the best of their ability
  • Projects must not break the Terms of Service or EULA of any organization, including (but not limited to) Mojang, Microsoft, Discord (including their ban on exploits and hacks) and any other community platforms we use

Prisim Launcher
A Fork of a Fork maintained by trannies
Untitled.png

You have MultiMC. Guy says can we get a flatpak, dev says no. Guy says screw you guys, I'll make my own MultiMC. Forks it to PolyMC.
You have PolyMC. Guy wants a cracked launcher. You get PollyMC.
You have PolyMC. Dev says CoCs are retarded. Other maintainers say screw you guy, I'll make my own CoC. You get Prism Launcher.
Poly isn't updated much (not that it needs to be) so PollyMC changes their upstream to Prism Launcher. Tranny shit is kept out and it is still cracked for offline play.
Somewhere along the line Curseforge locks down modpacks so they are exclusive to the Curseforge Launcher. MultiMC and Prisim cuck to this while PollyMC and PolyMC use a workaround.

Fuctionaly all these launchers are the same but if I we're to give you a suggestion: use PollyMC

Fuctionaly all these launchers are the same but if I we're to give you a suggestion: use PollyMC
Fantastic write-up. Really shows how fucked MC modding is getting since 1.7.10.
If you think Xisuma is bad, wait until you try sitting through some of Eckosoldier's shit. That guy is the textbook definition of a fucking shill.
Imagine becoming a Bedrock YouTuber, and for free. I've seen this clown before, nothing there worth watching if you're not a retard.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Fjord Launcher, considering it's basically just an updated fork of PollyMC, and PollyMC doesn't actually get updated all that often and has fallen behind on maintaining parity with the latest Prism Launcher versions. I use it and haven't had any issues so far. With that said, I really hope devs stop acting retarded so I can stop having to migrate to a new launcher every year-ish. I've gone from MultiMC, to PolyMC , to Prism Launcher , to PollyMC , and now to Fjord Launcher.

Also, for the record, the only reason I care about updating is so I don't miss an update that might finally add automatic Java version switching (and some annoying bug fixes). I know some other non-MultiMC derivative launchers support this, but I can't be assed to go learn how to use them and migrate all my packs over.

I just looked at the latest release, and the Fjord Launcher dev added back Microsoft DRM. Disregard everything I typed above, I suck cocks.

EDIT: Everything about this is retarded.

Christ with these amounts of forks you'd think we'd be feasting. I rather starve...
View attachment 6102523
at this point its like the faggots who forked Gimp just so they could rename it to "Glimpse"
https://news.itsfoss.com/glimpse-gimp-fork-archived/

I suspect some of these launchers will go in the same direction. Ded and irrelivent
>Forked gimp because the name offended them
And this is why I'm starting to hate open source. What was once a wonderful way to get a community to make contribute to a big project turned into a fucking opinion piece every day. They claimed because of the pandemic they got no contributors. I like how even with ONLINE WORK people still blame the pandemic. "What's that, the lockdown makes us stay home so how could we not work on something online? Uh...shut up bigot!" Reading that article was just sad, no shit he got no contributors. Imagine making a fork not because the person who made the original product did something so egregious that people were actively leaving the project so you capitalize on it, but instead make a fork because...the name of the product offended you. When you create a problem people never knew could even be a problem, people will not give a fuck.
