Never, EVER, believe anything some Minecraft plebbitor, Jeettuber, or groomercord user says without a mountain of evidence, and even then make sure it's buried underneath a mountain of salt.

I only heard about it second-hand from a technical modder I chat with, thought "huh, that sucks better swap so my stuff doesn't get leaked," and forgot about it. In hindsight it's so insidious how they'll hide the idea of unpersoning someone for wrongthink under the kind of language that makes it sound like it was just a run-of-the-mill data leak.

What's even worse is that Scrumplex and his troon brigade operated purely on emotions, and that was enough to completely defame Lenny and PolyMC.

Why? The best they could've mustered was that Lenny had to set up a new MS API key as Scrumplex and his troon brigade purposefully broke it to mess with PolyMC, and then blatantly lied about how PolyMC can now steal your MS account just because Lenny used his own API key, completely ignoring the fact that the sole reason Microsoft has those authentication API's is so that minimal access to your MS account is granted for basics like Xbox authentication to work. When you use Lenny's API key to authenticate, all it asks for is your Xbox ID. Same as any other custom launcher. There would be red flags if it asked for more, but it doesn't.

Besides, PolyMC is still open source, which means you can verify every new commit post-takeover and verify if the final offered builds are reproducible. Did Scrumplex and his troon brigade do that? Of course they didn't! They only tried to cause issues for PolyMC and then screech that it's evil and compromised. Again, never trust Prism or Scrumplex. During the PolyMC fiasco they've shown their true face by actively acting maliciously against Lenny while Lenny himself has shown zero attempts at being malicious. When security vulnerabilities were found within PolyMC, Lenny patched them up.

This is how you know the person who made this Rentry is a drooling retard. TPB itself isn't untrustworthy, but just about every new upload is as there's zero QC, seed count can be artificially boosted and the uploader skulls don't mean shit. G4TW is probably the best source for pirated Sims games and just because they also use TPB doesn't mean shit, the infohashes on TPB are the same as on their website. Trent Reznor uploaded some of his work via TPB back in 2006, and guess what, all of it is still safe to download. TPB didn't suddenly modify every single infohash to be malicious and only idiots that don't understand shit about how BitTorrent works would assume all of TPB is suddenly compromised.

To be fair, back when I still had a plebbit account I actively told people (which weren't a lot since it was hardly brought up) the situation behind the whole PolyMC drama and I haven't gotten any negative feedback correcting anyone. If you're willing you might be able to contact a janny or whoever maintains the Rentry and ask them to elaborate. Assuming they care, the last time I asked for something to be fixed or just changed and they did it was-again-back when I had a plebbit account a while ago. The cancerous cretinous pedophilic self/child mutilators might have gotten to them.

someone leaked part of the TRVE AND HONEST barebones texturepack thanks to merl, the video goes a bit in detail but the texture atlas is kind of outdated according to the video itself.
while i personally distaste phoenix's faggotry, he did it right this time by showing receipts, mainly the reddit thread of someone trying to port the atlas into a pack and the link to minecraft wiki of the texture atlas, he wonders if that was on purpose or just a oopsie, since he is a family friendly minetuber he did not assume it was some retarded jeet that forgot to redeem the texture atlas changes to only cover the visible blocks.

jeettube recommended me this video, i partially agree with this dood that jeb is a massive fucking retard but if you paid even the slight attention to jeb and his retardation from way back it was a telling sign he's not a creative lead design, he's a fucking artist.
although he didn't notice that jeb's retardation and speech now is basic bitch marketeer stuff filter, he was taught well by microshart, probably because he is one of the faces of minecraft now as notch has been deemed "problematic" way back.

I did see his Jeb video recommended to me, but honestly I figured it would just be the same things I've already heard. Might check out the comments and his other videos at least.
 
SalC1 has uploaded a video regarding 2b2t being forced to capitulate to Mojang's EULA regarding "hatespeech" and the further enshittification of Minecraft by Microsoft which will continue to make servers harder and harder to keep online.

2b2t players are revolting by making tens of thousands of swastikas at spawn.
 
I think there used to be special servers that could only be connected to by pirated / custom build clients, essentially functioning outside of main network. Perhaps Mojang/Microsoft globohomo measures would alienate enough people to the point that these become a thing again 🤔
