It's one of the big benefits of BA. Look at those starter armies and you usually get 3 units of infantry, 2 vehicles, a HQ, and a couple of gun teams. They can be used in K47 too, which is a bonus. It's handy if you don't care for list building.

The army boxes are usually around 1500pts worth 1000pts according to Reddit. A game of BA/K47 is around 1500pts. I don't know if they come with all the dice.
I don't know if the list accounts for weapon options. Iirc the boxes say on the side how many points you get.

The real expense is getting the fancy dice. They are really expensive. I guess you technically don't need them, but when I played we used them.
Thanks for the information. I pulled the trigger and bought their gamer bundle some dice and both rule books.

Sorry about shitting the thread again with Tranch Crusade, but I just can't understand how having Aztecs as demon worshippers is considered "christofascists" despite being the most basic viewpoint of any sane religion and inline with christian ideas.
Average woketard will ignore all the bad bits of the Aztecs because any sort of justification of colonialism goes against their dogma. Also its because any sort of research into Mesoamarican history they do is already deeply ingrained with that anti-colonial narrative. Ignoring any sort of notions that the Aztec peoples had surprisingly complex, efficient and brutal societies that were self destructive for more than just religious reasons (as one could guess, Aztec religion was also deeply political) like certain periods of Rome but with more casual sacrifices.
Note that I would actually think that having all mesoamericans be demon worshippers by default would be kinda meh, but having them be wholly innocent while euros and some implied Muslims are the ultimate bad guys is retarded, if you wanted to include them realistically you really need to make certain groups play for either side each instead of being ultimate badasses who don't need no church.

I thought I asked this before, or at least mentioned it. But I'm torn on a paint scheme for a back burner army. I'm sort of accidentally collecting a small British Commonwealth K47 force.

I'm torn between World War 2 drab. (1 and 3 here)
WGA Bulldog Paint Scheme.jpg
or a Valkyria Chronicles like blue* paint scheme.
VC Art Book.jpg
I could even do colonial colours (2 in the first image) but that's my least favourite choice.

My rational is the WW2 scheme is more "realistic" but in a sea of tan amd green, another tan and green force fits, but looks a bit bland.
The other two schemes add a splash of colour to the table. VC in particular has a bunch of uniforms for different units, armies, etc.
Colonial colours might look guady on vehicles, so might have to think of something else.

Go with color.

I was given the Afrika Korps starter set for Christmas and it's got 36 infantry, an 88mm, MMG crew, mortar team, and Panzer III.

Its a very nice set up1770400674044.jpeg

I'll try to post progress pics when I get home.

Tranny Crusade community license

Wait what's this?
* we reserve the right to deny anyone the use of our IP and to modify or outright cancel this Community License at any time.
* You agree that we may use, copy, modify, distribute, and make derivative works of your Project, on a royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide basis, for any purpose and without having to credit you, pay you anything, or obtain your approval.
* We will not tolerate content that is illegal or that is considered hateful, obscene, or of moral turpitude including, but not limited to, anything that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be sexist, racist, homophobic, or transphobic.
* We reserve the right to, in our sole and absolute discretion, change the terms of this Agreement at any time. It is your responsibility to check back from time to time to see if anything has changed.

So right wingers are banned for having their own thoughts, and left wingers don't own what they make. The latter is absolutely hilarious with the performative "we don't accept AI" clause.

That alone makes it seem like it would not hold up in court.

And NFTs too. Are NFTs still a thing?

This part got me.
Video game mods – We do not allow the use of Trench Crusade IP in mods or mod packs for existing video games that seek to replicate all or part of the Trench Crusade universe or game in another engine (eg: Roblox, ARMA, etc).
And this.
Display miniatures, busts, etc – We do not allow the use of the Trench Crusade IP in 3D designs that are used for decorative purposes.
So if you put your minis on display, suddenly they're void?

I don't know why they even bothered with this. The license should've just been "fuck off, the IP is ours, fan work is banned."

How did people not see this coming. They told everyone their political agenda back when they banned Warhammer refugees from their discord for hating on female custodes.

There probably a few right wingers still coping, but the amazing thing is how draconian this thing is. It is immediately worse than anything GW has ever done, while using tranny/anti AI as a shield to remove any criticism.

Like who the fuck would do lore videos or fanart when they reserve the right to content strike the former and steal the work of the latter.

The great chud purge predates the femstode reveal iirc?

However this is pretty retarded
I suppose their intention for the 2nd one is that you can't make decorative statues for profit (?) but its so vauge it bans a lot of shit someone might think of
The first is also really fucking stupid because 40k and Warhammer as a whole has always had a healthy amount of autists modding the universe into other games since time immemorial (and community outrage each time GW had a shitfit about their IP) but somehow TC now deems it verboten for themselves. Fascinating.

TC didn't have much bespoke modding I fan think of, but iirc both Arma 3 and Ravenfield had modpacks that were more or less mimicking the setting without using the IP and that's probably what's still going to happen if people are still interested in a setting with 1 plastic kit, endless drama, and tryhard lore.
I wonder what is causing this retardation, is it the side that's ex-gw niggers and it picked up a retard who does legal or legal advice, or did the great chud purge have them leery of evil chud modders picking up their setting?

It's usual case of leftists talking shit for years on how GW/corporation is greedy, starting their own things and then immediately grifting the shit out of it.

My Japanese army set came in the mail today. Warlord games included a spru of bolt action waffen-ss soldiers as a freebie in my order which is cool. I'm not entirely a fan of these bases though so I'm ordering new ones on amazon.
Currently building my Type 7 Sasori

Been working my way through the Bolt Action Afrika Korps Starter set. It's super cool, but doing 36 infantrymen is laborious. Also I found a store near me that does games for it.......12-5 on Fridays.

I wish it was more popular.

Necro, but does anyone has any thoughts on the Oathmark system? Published by Osprey but it seems to be one of their more in depth games unlike some of their blue book titles like the "Rampant" line and its seemingly getting a 2nd edition soon. Ive been eying their minis because they're pretty cheap (30-40 bucks for 30 28mm figures, with cool enough fantasy post roman aesthetics) but some videos shilling it have popped up like with 5 Leagues from the Borderlands and 5 Parsecs, some wierd coop titles ala Frostgrave or Stargrave

Never played Oathmark as rank and flank never appealed, and I've not bought the minis, but I have bought a bunch (too many) of Northstars other ranges.

It's a tough call, but Northstar might make the most fun to build minis. They look good, have a lot of freedom and kitbash potential, and go together easily. The big difference seems to be instead of a many single options, you get a lot of a few options so you can kit your guys with the same gear.
