Yeah they don't do abortions in the ER for crying out loud. Even if a woman needed a termination to save her life, she would be sent up to the OB floor. Also no way was Miriam actually a nurse. So it's all made up.

Now she's saying she's Portuguese and so was Yitzhak. There are Jews who speak Portuguese, of course, including in Israel, but color me skeptical.

Apparently a grandparent lived in Brazil for a while after WWII, having left Germany.
