Also, re: Kenny… he’s a fucking imbecile. Too stupid to be a troll. It’s MMA adjacent so please shit on the guy
I cannot respect anyone who can honestly say Usman > GSP

Holy shit. Moicano CAN afford to lose! That’s awesome.
I'm glad he got a fat check from it. He deserves it and I can't wait till he fights again.

Doesn't that just describe the whole MMA twitter sphere? I've used sherdog for over a decade and was still baffled by the sheer amount of retardation that twitter has when it comes to any MMA topic. Only people from there I follow are the ones who post highlights and whatnot, something that has some value instead of takes that are indistinguishable from ragebait.
GSP in his UFC tenure had 8 finishes in 18 wins, they're really not comparable. He was actually trying to finish fights,
He did turn into a more risk-averse, well prepared fighter after the first Serra fight but I get what you're saying. Still, 7 decision wins in a row to close out your WW career made his rep take a hit. Shit, Aldo got his fair share of hate for coasting to decisions in the UFC despite having already had a bunch of highlight reel moments before that, thankfully the Mendes rematch killed any "Aldo boring" talk but it was there for a bit.

Merab is just a wrestling version of Cruz tbh, and before anyone jumps at me look at the numbers:

12 decisions in 14 wins, one of those finishes being a Dr. stoppage against a meth dealer, and half of those decisions being in non-title fights. More entertaining to watch than Merab, but a point fighter nonetheless who never tried to finish a fight. Buddy knocked down a washed up Faber in their last fight and still didn't push for a finish.

Just tell Kenny that Nigerians don't save cards. Brazilians do.
Funny thing is Moicano did say Brazilians were like the Mexicans of MMA in an interview with Michael Bisping. He also joked that if the UFC needed someone to do the hard work they'll call a Brazilian.

Apparently GFL fucked up their stream and may have leaked the drafted teams, they've been announcing the fighters in different order from what's shown on the list, but so far they're all slotting into the same teams:

Kenny is not a troll. As a matter of fact, he has his own trolls. He likes to act like he wants to debate everyone on stream, but in reality he vetoes and cherry picks people from his own community. In short, if you're not a bigger youtuber (which isn't saying much) or already one of his braindead sycopanths, he'll duck you.

Basically, MMA Che - another MMA youtuber - mentioned Kenny's debate with other youtubers on stream, and how awful he was at it. Kenny being the clout chasing faggot he is took his opportunity to raid Che's stream and had his audience spam Che and challenge him to debate him. They didn't have a topic to discuss besides Kenny's antics, so Che picked his video about the dream matchup between Khabib vs Charles and his take on it. TLDR: Charles had a good chance of beating Khabib.

This in my opinion is Kenny's worst, most insufferable moment. Kenny disagreed with Che and said Khabib would smash him (something which coming into the debate I actually agreed with). But that's irrelevant, because he didn't even bother to watch the video that they were supposed to talk about about and he didn't let the guy get a single word in. Just kept shouting like the shit flinging monkey he is that Che's 'cooked' and bragged about how good and intelligent he is (which is strange, because I have never seen an interaction where he looks good at all). And in the rare moment Che was able to make a point, Kenny just said it's irrelevant, pushed it aside and defaulted to try and talk over him, but Che didn't let him, so it just ended up being a diet IBS level shouting match. That's the problem with debating Kenny, he doesn't want to hear the other side or learn something new, he just wants to be right and win.

You guys think Hughes makes it competitive or does Usman cruise to another win? I'm praying he at least forces a fight and goes out on his shield so we don't get coasting for 25 minutes.

I dislike Hughes, but I dislike Usman more. Hughes by 2nd round KO.

Incoming Total Gaelic Victory, I'm picking Hughes, mostly because I want the Irish and Dagi fans to go at in the crowd. and the look on khabibs face would be glorious.

We're only in January but this is already the worst decision of the year. How do you get two 48-46 scorecards in a razor-close fight with a point deduction.

It's been said, but Holland's 45-70 shit was one of the lamest things I've ever seen a fighter do, up there with Dillashaw working the cringepads on the plane

i don't know guys, but his drama with youtubers like kenny is more fun for me than the boring spanish speaker mma community

In another topic, I haven't seen the entire Usman vs Paul fight. But from what I see on social media, it was a closer fight than many thought at the beginning. Which doesn't surprise me personally, Hughes surprised me since his victory with AJ, It wasn't going to be a easy fight for Usman. Too bad I don't think we'll see Hughes or Usman in the UFC anytime soon.

if i said something wrong, an apology i still have trouble writing the language

Usman is going to the UFC in a few years, either after he finishes his renewed contract or if PFL goes down. Khabib has said that the plan is for Islam to retire and have Usman take his place. Hughes, Usman, Gadzhi and AJ are all high level guys so I hope we get to see them all in the UFC down the line, preferably before they're washed.

Hope Vadim doesn't re-sign with PFL tbh, a fight with Ngannou would be cool but after that? Goltsov, Delija, Popov and Moldavsky are all mid (and the latter two are his teammates), Renan has a puncher's chance and that's it.

i haven't seen much from GFL since they got tony, but seeing brandon schaub as one of the roundtable hosts is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen
