Forum rules
The Update forum can only have new threads posted into it by staff and VIP users. This forum is more strict on what is allowed. Moderators will split out off-topic conversations and delete posts they feel are needless at their own discretion. Posts must also be approved before they appear, so please think before post.
Quality over quantity. The focus of this board is to encourage quality posts. Do not just reply with your immediate reaction to a status update. Unless you have something interesting and relevant to say, it probably belongs in Discussion instead.
Only post to contribute. Read other people's replies before posting yourself to make sure you're actually adding to conversation, rather than just reiterating what's already been discussed. Make posts people will want to read, even weeks later. It's okay not to reply!
Stay on topic. If you have something to say that's not relevant to the status update itself, open up a thread in Discussion.
These rules are specific to this forum and posts are more loosely moderated everywhere else, as they always have been.
