Newgrounds at the very least still puts out cartoons, games and now has a dedicated section for artists. However, its clear that the ravages of the Corponet has taken its toll on the site as it no longer have its millions strong views it had back then.

Either way, its doing ok at the very least as far as I can see.

The Internet is currently being reduced to the shitty Corponet as seen with the AOL webpage in the early 2000s. Curated as fuck content and no real power to affect shit. However, much like the Troons then who had to find a way around this censorious panopticon masquerading as a walled garden, people are just gonna have to find ways to sidestep the bullshit.

Still remember the convo Ralph (Pre-Gunt period), Null and Metokur had when discussing on having to host on other countries to get away from the censorious shit that was going on in the early 2010s. Not to mention Metokur's old "Hope you speak Chinese" video. Wherein people will have to learn and understand how shit works to ultimately say nigger on the internet without getting banned.

Then there is the simple fact that people just want to express themselves and being reminded of the old wild west that was pre-2008 internet will at the very least make them resent the current corporatized internet we're suffering through right now. Hence why Communist fucks always strive to erase the past. In order to force people to accept their pozzed future... which inevitably leads to collapse because you can't survive reality with pure delusion.

I think it might, 50/50.
In the good case scenario, the kind of people who would be on the net before it was popular will congregate on smaller, more specialized forums, free from spam, maybe they will have personal sites or sites for their interests, but they will not spam the algorithm as there will be none. Some people might subscribe to your RSS/mailing list, but only if they get stuff that actually interests them from it, if you spam it with irrelevant bullshit, they will unsubscribe again. And you will be paying (for the hosting) to even show something to them, not the other way around, so only passionate people with actually interesting stuff to share will get much visibility.
Meanwhile normies, instead of being offline, will stay congregated around facebook/twitter/linkedin/whatever fad numedia of the year and keep swimming in their manure, trying to compete for likes while you ignore them.

Tried searching for vid how to bypass that "Error 153" BS on YouTube embeds. In the first of the 3 relevant results I could find, one was a narration with a foreign-sounding accent (Middle Eastern?) claiming that the problem could be fixed by "clicking on the 3 dots" in "Google Chrome" and deleting YT cookies. Comments on the vid said it doesn't work. Next video: thick Indian accent with the narration, with that "3 dots" thing in "Google Chrome" again. Stopped watching there. Then, I went to another video. Narration was American but sounded somewhat soy, and again with that "3 dots" in "Google Chrome" thing. YT embeds still don't work anywhere, not even on youtube.com/embed/[video code] now.
 
Youtube recently stopped working for me altogether. I can't watch videos. I can't click anything. I can't even search except by direct URL. I've taken to using Freetube, and it is superior. It basically functions as Youtube once did, with a few missing features. However the real surprise was using the search directives, which are also available on stock Youtube. I set it to before:2016. It is truly shocking how much better this instantly makes the platform. When you search something you actually get generally what you wanted. All the years of perfecting the formula of transmuting one's time into pennies of revenue have suddenly been stripped away. What's left is only the core of what someone earnestly wanted to upload and what I actually wanted to find. When I lookup some topic on a video sharing platform, I don't want to see a mountain of overproduced content slop; I want to see some retard dubbing over shitty footage badly.
 
I have tinnitus so I like listening to background noise like rain ambience while I sleep, but now it's full of AI shit including these shorts with old grandpa Jeets and Jungle Asians with fat assed sugar babies in the recommends:

I'm considering just going full normalfag and not messing with tech anymore. I used to enjoy hacking old systems and stuff but with how far it's degraded I get so frustrated in general that I just can't be bothered anymore.
 
I just want to bitch and can't think of where to put it.

Trying my hand at hack the box, ine and other pentesting education sites and I'm so fucking tired of looking up help and just getting a flood of medium walkthroughs from fucking shitskin middle easterners who all just appear to copy each other without actually expanding on what they are doing.

I have have legit seen people post screenshot in their walkthrough where they run a specific tool, get an error message from their tool being out of date and just keep on "writing" as though the tool did what it was suppose to do.

Letting the third world on the internet was a fucking mistake.

Edit: because I'm banging my head against the wall. One of the boxes involved using a word list to search for smb shares. Nothing in the course referenced creating your own script for this task but I guess that's just the nature of how things are.

Looking at one walkthrough. The author says "we are going to create a python script" proceeds to make a bash script instead (it's fucking labeled bash at the top of the script) and then copy and paste the exact same script (with the same variable names, coding and spaces) as every other fucking walkthrough used

Allowing 80iq populations on the internet was a disaster. There should be great firewall that would block everyone from middle east, africa and asia as then the amount of subhumans on which imagery like this works would decrease by nearly 100%.
 
Welp guys it finally happened.

Google for some reason decided I'm a kid and so it flagged my main account where I do the bulk of my main surfing and youtube watching.

Though a bit flattered I apparently have the ability to turn back time. I have zero idea why. I don't binge Magic Schoolbus or go near any of those Gen Alpha influencers and channels with a 10 foot pole nor do anything in particular that would look like what kids do when they surf the web that I can think of off the top of my head.

Do they think watching history deep dives and 3 hr long video essays analyzing movies is something a 3rd grader does? I don't get it.

Now I'm going to have to cough up ID or they'll wipe the account according to what I've heard. I guess thats one way to get personally identifiable data. Get people hooked on your services. Then pretend they did something wrong and hold their stuff hostage until they 'volunteer' their names and pictures emasse and voila you have faces for all the data you are harvesting. Pretty clever.

Google already knows exactly who I am. They auto-filled my phone number in a form once, without my ever having entered it anywhere. I use my wife's number for deliveries and shit because she has her phone all the time. I don't use mine much, literally never to do any Google shit (not even visit YouTube). And it's not Android. They bought my info from somewhere else, maybe Apple. Not many other possibilities.

They still demand that I "verify my age." My account is over fifteen years old and shows no signs of having ever been a kid's. The quasi-anonymous age verification option they offer is to run your email address through some AI garbage that dates it. Gave it a try, since the email address they have is more than two decades old, and that's easily searchable. Failed.

They want your picture.

Looked at the results some more. Almost all those relevant results with the "solution" to the "Error 153" bullshit are vid thumbnails with Hindi text. Welcome to the Current Year honknet, I guess. Also, YouTube staff found a way to make it so that none of the videos will even appear now on the main crapsite unless you turn that ad blocker off...
