"Mooch" (Darius Goad, now goes by Melissa Goad, born 1998 ) is an infamous emulator developer from Texas that has been banned from every project he has ever worked on.
While there's no shortage of autistic trannies like Mooch among emu devs, none of them are as hard to work with as him.
He will rage every time someone has different politics, uses an emulator that he deems inferior to his emulator of choice, make a grammar mistake, or misgenders. And even when you tolerate all that he will still fail to produce any usable software.

The Beginning
(Darius at age 12)
Mooch started off as a bright young kid with big dreams and at age 14 he first expresses his interest in emulation and his wish to become the byuu of PC emulation:
His emulator wasn't in any usable state but it was still impressive work for a 14 year old.
He would sporadically work on his emulator until 2018 but it never garnered any outside interest and he was never be able to get it booting past the BIOS.
He also started making small contributions to big emulation projects like MAME at only 15.
However Mooch also showed problems fitting in

And he quickly becomes notorious on reddit:

Mooch starts identifying as a trans woman and calling himself Melissa some time in 2016 at age 17.
Coincidentally, he also had a tumblr during this time.
And started seething about Trump supporters:

Mooch and his PS2 emulator
Not satisfied with only revolutionising PC emulation he started a PS2 emulator called "Emotionless" in 2015.
But people were not impressed.
With such a great emulator in the works he begins to call out PCSX2 (a PS2 emulator that actually boots and plays games).

Years later the emulator receives a major update after another dev looks at the code for less than an hour and fixes what Mooch couldn't figure out in years:

This project gets abandoned in 2018 as well and would never boot past the BIOS.
Mooch being a Mooch
Mooch started a Patreon in 2017 for his work on emulators.
What was his actual work on emulators besides his own failed projects?
With "nVidia code" he's referring to Riva 128 emulation - a tiny part of the emulator that never got finished and eventually got deleted from the project.
To this day this remains his most significant contribution.
He also begged for money for HRT on his now deleted Twitter:
Mooch and 86Box
Mooch worked by far the most with the 86Box project. Whose developers were stupid enough to accept all his excuses and let him back in again and again.
86Box is a fork of PCem, a PC emulator like the one he was making except it works.
Here are the thoughts of PCem's creator on Mooch:
This is because Mooch would constantly attack other emulators as an 86Box developer and other project members were forced to run damage control for him. As well as turning away new users by insulting them for every slight technical or spelling mistake.
His attacks would even get him featured on r/SubRedditDrama for criticising MAME:
So Mooch isn't contributing much and creating unnecessary drama but it's not like he's trying to actively damage the project, right?
Well, except for the time he got "triggered" by a political argument with another member which caused him to wipe everything on their FTP server in 2019:
They make the sensible decision to ban him but a month later a new user called "mszoopers" shows up in their IRC channel, referred to by "a former developer" who did something "really stupid and impulsive while off her meds", who wants to start contributing:
mszoopers also defends Mooch when his name comes up and they finally found out that mszoopers is using the same IP as Mooch:
After he was found out he starts begging to be let in again and these idiots actually let him in once more:

Mooch alienating other projects

Grooming allegations
Unfortunately you can't talk about a lolcow anymore without this coming up.
There are several claims that Mooch was sharing sexually explicit images and making advances on underage trans girls on Discord.
I have no confirmation on any of it but it did get him banned from yet another emulation project.
Which leads Mooch to open a bug on their Github to rage about it:
