Found this old emulator issue, seen a name I recognized from somewhere (mooch / qeeg), and found this thread through google...
So, here's a little bit of extra info:
86Box/PCem (and tangentially OSBA/BetaArchive) is like a magnet for autistic children who have nothing better to do than obsess over "long lost Windows" and extremely niche emulation. A lot of these people never grew up and have been involved with these projects / sites for probably half of their lives. That's partially why the 86Box people used to keep Mooch around, they've known him for almost 10 years...
None of the actual people directly involved (programmers, etc) with the projects/sites are retards as far as I know, just the (man)children who orbit them.
Plenty of them have been on various news sites throughout the years. Not very lolcow-y, just "autistic teenager does <big computer thing>!". It's pretty amusing to see what some are up to nowadays though, some were a little *too* obsessed with "lost" things so they hacked Microsoft (and Nintendo). A lot are Silicon Valley trannies now too, working for companies like Apple, Facebook, etc.

If anyone's curious about the last few years of history (as well as mooch's emotional outbursts), you can search 86Box's discord, they have an IRC bridge.

If I am viewpoint MAME emulation project leaders David haze and R. Belmont, can gentlemanlike warn him for MAME needs money funding to further emulation. Because they are must continuously focus on a lot of arcade hardware. And In the case of MAME, PC hardware and software support is just secondary, not able to reach the mainstream stage until now.

To anyone looking at PCBox, I warn you, and ask that you spread the word about this, especially within the PCBox Discord server/guild and any other places you can think of:

The main developer, Melody Goad, formerly Darius Goad (briefly Melissa Goad), date of birth 5 November 1998, recently confessed that she is a pedophile, that she engages in grooming and sexual activity with minors as young as 13 years old or possibly younger, on the internet. She also confessed that she looks at child pornography, in the form of lolicon.

She told this to me privately, and I was obviously disgusted, so I recorded every call - and I further probed her for more information. I have over 6 hours of her confessions. I have her on camera talking to me about her activities. I may or may not publish it online at a date in the future, but I don't want to jeopardise any legal case against her (e.g. I don't want to prejudice any future jury), so:

I will be reporting her to the FBI (she lives in Denton, Texas, so FBI has jurisdiction), and only providing my evidence to the FBI for the time being. I'm still processing this emotionally as it has had a huge toll on my mental health in the last few days, knowing now what I know about her. It's a lot. And I'm trying to figure out a reliable way to submit this video evidence (for the authorities).

I'm putting this message here to warn people, especially if minors are interacting with the PCBox project in any way.

Why she told me, I have no idea. But now I'm telling you. I have unfriended Melody, having previously been friends with her for quite some time - I have also banned her from all of my communities. Please beware.

You should ban her too, from your communities.

I already contacted two developers in the 86box project; they are talking to the rest of the 86box development team, about possibly cleaning up the Pentium 3 and SSE 1/2 support in PCBox and merging it back into 86box. I would encourage anyone else savvy enough to also contact the 86box project for this purpose. The work must be preserved, but we must ensure that the PCBox founder can no longer have any authority in these communities.

Paedophiles must never be permitted to be part of any online community.
Any victims of Melody's should also come forward and testify against them, if they wish; once this is all sorted, I will probably have a case number given to me that I can then publish online.
