He's probably about 85% right on this except I don't agree about the part he says about restrictions on the internet. I don't think his lawyer was going to attempt to blame it on the internet trolls (we don't have solid evidence that janke or anyone else actually influenced him) and his crime didn't involve communicating with Barb over the Internet. So I highly doubt there would be any restrictions legally on him over it. Unless someone is producing internet child pornography, they don't automatically restrict it for sex offenders like they would have in the late 90s.
Even before this happened, there is a clear trajectory toward unconsummated incest with bizarre things like cuddling with his own mother. I think his attorney probably just argued diminished capacity.

I've actually seen docket sheets with adjudications like this where it listed someone as both not "guilty" and "guilty" but without the quotations. Basically "guilty but mental" which isn't "guilty" and allowed the person to get off.
