I was the same way, so I know the struggle, I hope it works for you. Just a FYI, If it doesn't work, you might need to increase the dose.

Mosquitos cannot fly for shit, so an electric fan is very effective at warding them off at night. I place mine at the foot of my bed so that it blows a steady breeze over me when I sleep. Even the lowest setting has worked so far.

I have bettas so I like to leave a container of still water with a net in it and scoop them up every few days because it’s free fish food.

Do you just leave your door open for extended periods of time? Another trait of a filthy poor.
 
Mosquitos are awful but ticks are worse for me since they can crawl on you without knowing and attached on you if you don't carefully check afterwards, not to mention transmitting Lyme Disease and other awful illnesses.

Also Chiggers bites are even worst than Mosquitos bites. Your entire lower leg can get destroyed with bites.
