You know... I feel compelled to say that #2 from the left has actually done a pretty good job. The sparkly blouse and pants are appropriately matronly; the wig looks pretty fake, but in the same way that an elderly lady might wear one, and the cut is believable. The shoulders are stooped, and everyone's gender traits start to blur with sufficiently advanced age...I daresay if he wandered into my field of vision at some distant relation's wedding, I might not actually twig that he's an old man and not an old lady, at least not right away. Pretty decent verisimilitude, grandpa. Good work!

The matronly hair and clothing are what does it. The others are clearly dressed like their fantasies, and not how a woman of their age would actually dress and groom herself. It helps he doesn't have massive manhands or a particularly large build. In motion or speaking the illusion is probably shattered. But he did a good job for a still photo.

Red dress guy has a bit of a Jessica Walters thing going, if he had dressed more like an old lady he might have that glancing passing too.

Or maybe people are just playing along so as not to piss off the obviously mentally ill male in front of them. It's quite obvious to everyone that he is male.

If the "harassment" doesn't start until he begins interacting & speaking with people, what kinds of things is he saying to people that would cause "harassment"?
