I tried this and it was alright. I couldn't quite place the flavor, but it tasted halloweeny to me.
When I tasted it, it reminded me of candy corn.

I've heard people say both of those. I'm not gonna say either of you are wrong, hell if I know, but my guess was vanilla orange, and it's still the last thing i remember tasting. It tasted more like cotton candy to me
I had it a while ago and I can see why it's still sitting on shelves, the flavor is basically everything that makes up a gingerbread cookie (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and molasses) blended into a bottle of Mountain Dew.I tried "Gingerbread Snap'd", a limited edition flavor that's artificial gingerbread flavored. I didn't much care for it. It's not like those weird flavored vodkas and sodas with some disgusting amount of sugar and artificial flavoring in there, it has a gingery zip without the acrid taste of cinnamon, yet because it's Mountain Dew still has some citrus/pineapple taste to it.
I tend to gravitate towards flavors that are either seasonal/promotional (VooDew) or are store-exclusives (Baha Blast, Sweet Lightning, and Frostbite). Hell, I still have a 12-pack of this year's VooDew that I'm saving for later.Generally I enjoy Mountain Dew flavors, I love (and miss) Pitch Black and its late 2010s revival, Major Melon and the pineapple one from last summer were good too. The VooDew flavor this year (basically Starbust-flavored), not so much.
I second that dream of having Alliance Blue returning, I remember liking it more than the Horde Red (but I partially blame that on the tangerine-cherry flavor being a Game Fuel staple since the Halo 3 days).I really miss the flavor of Mountain Dew Alliance Blue. In 2009, Pepsi Co. ran a promotion for World of Warcraft with two flavors in the USA. The Alliance flavor was "wild berry" and that blue shit was the best soda I've ever drank to this day. Voltage doesn't even compare. The Horde flavor was tangerine cherry, which was also pretty tasty.
