How does this overall benefit the site?
It organizes the threads a bit more. The subreddits are all connected through their users, aswell as drama. By having all the reddit stuff in one place one could more easily make himself a mental image of the site. Also, with the upcoming election, Reddit will see a lot of political drama coming.

I think a dedicated Reddit mock subforum would be a good idea.
Reddit was bad before but holy shit has it grown exponentially more gay in recent times. Spez somehow manages to be a million times worse than the chink woman.

We have a tumblr subforum that's pretty dead most of the time; a Reddit one would definitely be more active. Threads on cows who are mostly active on Reddit could go in there, as well.

I like the idea. There are alot of community watch threads on reddit and grouping them together in their own subforum could help make it easier to find things. It might also encourage the creation of threads for some smaller subreddits that maybe aren't as notable but still produce a decent amount of content to laugh at. It seems similar to the tumblr subforum but for a site that is actually still prominent.
