Clearly (or if you prefer, obviously), he's your average, run-of-the-mill, Quartering-variety grifter. He posts three to four times a week, and has been doing so semi-consistently since late 2018. His content ranges from reading news articles to reading Twitter to reading Reddit to reading 4chan - a jack of all trades, this one. In terms of editing, I'd put him slightly over TheQuartering et al, as he actually will jumpcut to a different visual occasionally as he talks, and doesn't just monologue over a still image of the top two paragraphs of a news article with no facecam. Oh yeah, by the way, he's currently anonymous. He'll also sometimes throw in a @Memology 101 inspired smugtext-over-stock-synthwave-footage meme, but that's about as spicy as his content gets. And oddly enough, there's very few examples of leftists making their trademarked response videos directed at Obvious:
The last of those three by Vaush is probably the most damning for Obvious to the average conservative viewer, as a) that video went down within a month, and b) it's blatantly antisemetic, as it promotes an old under-the-radar 4chan op, "Operation Blue the Jew", which just colored any jew blue in a picture of politicians or public figures. Pretty funny on its own, but a little sus for a griftservative YouTuber to promote.

Obvious probably just let 4chan guide his content output a little too much, something he was very familiar with doing in the earlier years of his channel:

But of course, Obvious not getting too much politically-based criticism doesn't stop him from dishing it out to others. And by others, I mean Tim Pool:
The funniest of these videos is Tim Pool in a Nutshell, which is literally just two minutes and forty seconds of Obvious ranting about how Tim Pool is a fence-sitter who's only in it for himself, mixed in with some sperging about how he's rich but fundraised for his van. It was really amazing to hear Mr. Obvious of all people criticize Pool for being a grifter that's only doing YouTube for money:
In Obvious's video about workaholics he also says that Tim Pool is working himself to death, and says "you said you got sick on your YouTube Community Tab, as I predicted you would", like motherfucker, random speculation about the personal lives of YouTubers I'd expect from here, but why are you making personal theories and rant videos about this guy and only this guy lmao
But outside of the political sphere, one of the biggest amounts of backlash he got was from his video on the Kyoto Animation arsonist attack. Basically, an arsonist burns down a Japanese animation company, kills 33, and Obvious fires up his Reddit machine, finds one post from two years ago that says KyoAni was feminist!!!!! and decides to make what was certainly, one of the videos on Earth:

Obvious even did a video on Kiwi Farms one time, covering Null telling the New Zealand police to piss off. It's annoying, doesn't add anything to the conversation, and isn't interesting in any way, so it's primo Mr. Obvious content:
Sucks he doesn't realize that removing Section 230 would make sites seriously rethink hosting that lolicon he's such a big fan of. Oh yeah, didn't mention he's a lolicon advocate...
Kiwi Farms leech Rogue Internet Man made an original video for once calling out Mr. Obvious for posting lolicon in his Discord server. I'm not posting the screenshots because I don't even want the censored pictures on my PC, so here's a cut down version of the video in which Rogue shows them all:

Mr. Obvious responded, not in video form of course, but by doin' a little gay ops, gay ops which I won't be going into because they aren't important nor do they do anything to disprove the allegations of him being into lolicon. The only thing Obvious tried in the little back and forth that even resembled defending himself was asking how people could know the screenshots weren't inspect-elemented. Well, first off, they were screenshotted from the Discord mobile app, which can't be inspect-elemented. Second off, as shown in Rogue's second vid, doing a search in the server of "loli" shows other people talking about loli, and it wasn't just him. Third (and I could sadly never prove this, as the video seems to have been taken down), Obvious once uploaded a playthrough of a beta version of a game where you give a petite anime girl a fucking bath, just right in between two political videos, with no shame. And finally (and kinda circumstantially), we have Obvious's YouTube Favorites playlist, which he's left public for all to see...

I might be of a biased mind, but someone that's into fandom shit, coomer shit, incel shit, and makes right-wing YouTube videos? Even if those Discord screenshots were faked (which they weren't), you probably would still be into lolicon!
And moving on to a new point, those circus videos in the Favorites playlist caught my eye. Neither Thaehan nor YonKaGor show up anywhere else on the playlist (Triple-Q shows up quite a lot, which is funny for different reasons), meaning they were probably found independently through searches for something like, say, clown girls, and this is kind of making me think that Obvious got a little bit too into that whole Clown World meme he was pushing a while back, if you know what I mean...
I mean, Obvious even made a review of fucking Hazbin Hotel, and said that he identified with the edgy radio static demon that was made to bait Tumblr girls into drawing fanart:

After everything I've already mentioned, not too much has happened. The most interesting thing he's been involved in was when a suicidal French man that had a lot of early Bitcoin decided to donate all his BTC to various online right-wing figures and included Mr. Obvious on his sending list. Obvious received 2 BTC, which at the time of the donation was approximately $80,000, beating Ethan Ralph by $60k LMFAO. I guess this kind of grift does pay off.
