BTW @Ferls, how bad would Enter have to be in order for the Tumblr community to go "Fuck this guy, he deserved to be kicked in the balls"?

Don't worry. They'll hate him as soon as some chick makes a completely unproven accusation on her blog on how she was totally sexually harrassed by him this one time.

To which I would say "You guys are fucking scum. I hope you never merry." And considering the fact that this is Tumblr, they probably won't anyways.

All it would take is someone submitting something "problematic" that he said or did years ago to a popular SJW or special snowflake blog and the next thing you know he'd be public enemy number one.

Hey guys, so I don't know too much about Mr. Enter except from what I'm reading from this thread. But, this Mr. Enter guy seems to be the type of guy who has a dream but is not doing anything to reach it. And his belief in that college is a waste of time is sadly something I've been seeing gaining popularity for quite some years. I understand that college is not for everyone. If you can't afford it, then it is best to go to a community school or work at a job before entering a university. That way, you have money an or a bit of knowledge that can help you for the next 4 or so years in college.

And if Mr. Enter wanted to go to college, he can be a part-time student instead of a full-time one. He mostly likely won't finished in four years, but at least he would be in school for a few days a week and not have to worry too much about his "freelancing" job. But of course, life is too hard, and he demands the world to change in order for him to change. Sigh..

And as a fellow artists, I can understand having big dreams in getting your work out there. Especially if it's something you feel passionate about. But, you need something to back it up, whether it's art training or a college degree; you need something that at least tell people that you've been educating yourself in your artworks. If Mr. Enter want people to know about his awesome comics, he should start watching videos on how to animate, and read about animation. He can't just say that he wants to do animation if he can't even name several cartoonists/ animators that he likes. You have to immerse yourself in your passion.

I dunno, would the Tumblrites even accept him at this point? I mean don't get me wrong, he's had this attitude pretty much since he started reviewing. But would they really want a man who got his own fans to spam another man's twitter feed with death threats?

Yes, they support death threats and suicide-baiting if it is someone they find to be "problematic", such as someone who makes a suicide joke or any other problematic joke. Yeah, SJWs and tumblrinas are THAT hypociritical.

And shoplifting. Don't forget shoplifting.

Yeah, tumblr's shoplifting fandom is one of those "fandoms" that needs their own thread in the Ballpit. But yeah, like I said, tumblr is extremely hypocritical with condemning problematic stuff to the point of wishing death on others, yet they act and support things that are just as problematic, if not even more so.

I thought this thread was supposed to be on Mr. Enter's View on College, not Tumblr. Don't derail it.
Someone brought up the idea that Mr. Enter would probably fit in with tumblr on their views on college and school, which I have to say, Mr. Enter does have very similar views on school and college as tumblr does, if not the exact same views. That's why tumblr was brought up.

Yes, but then it was derailed completely from Mr. Enter, for example talking about Robert Crumb or people that have no relevance to the Entersphere.

Honestly, it's really only possible if he's willing to listen to his professors. However, if he wants to go to school I imagine he would be willing to listen to his professors. Hopefully he'd recognize that his professors are authorities, especially since he'll be paying money to learn from them.

And even if he got fed up and tried to withdraw from the school because of some kind of ego issue, depending on the school they might smack some sense into him before he would drop out.

But it really does also depend on where he would end up going, imo, considering his main problem with education is apparently the way that his high school operated in regard to his learning style. He needs a school that will change his mind about education. I feel like the first time he has a lecture course he would probably fall apart though. (Not to mention how he'll probably get upset that the school's PR department will probably have lied to him about something once he's finally attending the school)

I also think he'd have to put more thought into his major tbh. He said he wants to go into animation, but if he does that he'll be going for art, when honestly it seems to me like he's more interested in the production side.

To help get this back on track...

Do you think he has a chance of improving himself in college? Is there any way he can grow up there if he manages to go?

Honestly, I am not sure. Well for one thing, he could possibly grow up and get his act together. On the other side, he could end up like another Vade (who went to college and dropped out) or like another tumblrina (since surprisingly, many SJWs went to college for some kind of arts degree...). And with his ego and attitude, I would not be surprised if it was the latter in all honesty.
