If I may, I'd like to highlight a particularly insulting statement he made on that dA journal of his.
"I have a lot of problems with lower education too, especially this notion that "everyone has to go to college" (even if you want to go into blue collar work)."

He implies that only white-collar people go to college and that only white-collar people need it. Not true! I'm going to school right now to get a degree in automotive maintenance. Auto shops these days won't hire anyone without some sort of higher education, regardless of how much experience an applicant might have. A buddy of mine's cousin has been a mechanic for twenty-five years, and he can't get a job because he doesn't have a college education. I know that it's become this way for other blue-collar positions, as well.
And since I'm getting my degree, rather than my certification, I have to take Gen Ed courses like English, History, Algebra (which I'll actually need in the shop), and Chemistry (that'll come in handy, too).
What a snob he is.

As a small history nut, his disregard for the importance of history and why some details are omitted and only taught again in higher grades pisses me off. There are no events in history that are cut and dry and while it's good to have a general idea of certain historical events, the nuances and details of these events usually require a more mature understanding to fully grasp. Not to mention that much of classic literature or even some old animation can only be fully appreciated with some knowledge of historical events they derive some inspiration from.
Honestly, though, if he believes the US only became independent because the mean old Brits started overcharging on tea, I'd really like to hit him with a textbook. Excuse the minor A-Log.
Well, I had a discussion with MrEnter regarding his views on education a few days ago. It almost seemed like he ignored half of what I said at times. It seems however that he stopped replying to me after I sent him a counterargument against what he said, should I see that as a sign that he hasn't been on deviantart or should I see it as a sign that he just doesn't want to engage in the conversation for some other reason?

I get that some areas spend too much time with state tests, a lot of public schools in Texas are fucked up because of over-emphasis on state tests. But, is he seriously expecting teachers to make individual tests for 20+ students every single time they take a test? There were about 200 students in my grade my last year in public school, I can't imagine how fucking exhausting it would be for a teacher to have to make a special test and answer key for each one. That's pure insanity.
