MSPaint Support going bye-bye. - Somewhere, thousands of deviantArtists cry in agony

Not sure if it's right to put it here, but Microsoft's dropping support for MSPaint this fall.

Granted, it's just for windows 10 users (not sure if support for the Win 7 version will be dropped afterward, but knowing Microsoft, it might). But still, it is sad to see the tool that inspired so many crappy fetish pictures/Sonic recolors/:autism: go down the toilet, regardless of OS.

On the upside, Paint3D looks like it'll be taking its place, so we'll get to experience unbridled autism IN 3-D!

I'm thinking that they were going to put it on their shitty store from the beginning in order to actually get people using it and now they're framing it as "we listen to our customers!" for good PR.

That's too bad. I started digital art with MSPaint, and say what you will, it does its job. The program they're trying to replace it with, Paint 3D, is completely useless.

I don't see what the big deal is. Paint.net exists as a more versatile version of it.

Hell, i use paint.net as a cheap substitute for Photoshop. Oh, that was supposed to be sarcastic. Well never mind then.
