The Welsh band Ceredwen is another Celtic-electronic set up with female vocals, somewhat more upbeat than the usual fare. I think they only have two albums.

I would recommend the band Clannad (not the anime). The band actually consists of Enya's siblings (she was also part of the band briefly). They've made both English and Gaelic pieces for a few films and TV series in the 80s and 90s like the Last of the Mohicans and Harry's Game.

There's another singer who is also from the Gweedore Gaeltacht in Donegal named Aoife Ní Fhearraigh who composes and sings in Irish. She composed and sang some tracks in Metal Gear: Solid Snake like this one below.
