The Twitter Files, Part Six TWITTER, THE FBI SUBSIDIARY

Looks like Matt finally learned how to do Twitter threads because all the posts dropped at once. No more waiting hours for new posts.

7. The FBI’s social media-focused task force, known as FTIF, created in the wake of the 2016 election,
This is simultaneously totally unsurprising and incredibly revealing.
1 time. 1 time the populace goes against the agendas of those in power and they instantly start policing the mediums they think are responsible.

Remember how twitter allowed Maps (minor attracted people, barf) to have accounts for like two years? Just openly trying to normalize pedophilia, and got away with it for the most part because they were "non offending pedophiles". People fought tooth and nail trying to get those proud pedophiles banned. Each time twitter would defend the movement. I would do anything to see how twitter staff justified letting this go on. I know the site glows, every social media does, but I think exposing shit like this is more important. It was really disgusting that it went on for as long as it did, but with the suspicious shit Yoel has posted I think I have an idea of why it was allowed.

He bans whoever he wants to ban then comes up with the justification why after the fact. This has happened with parody accounts, ye, and now a list of vocal journalists.

The FBI is regularly in contact with every social media platform to discuss issues involving things such as individuals involved in ongoing cases, domestic terrorism, child trafficking, international influence etc, etc

This is literally the most nothing of nothing.
This is all factually incorrect and dishonest seething but that is to be expected

I was on the Twitter Space last night. Don't let the conservative media fool you. Elon got asked three questions and folded like an umbrella and left without saying goodbye. He got owned, it was not good for him.

You Twtitter twats are really salty everyone is laughing at you and you have no way to effectively dunk on Elon right now, aren't you? lol

You mean he bans people the exact same way Twitter did before he bought it and all of these people called it amazing and righteous, but now suddenly they have a issue with it? Why are they complaining then? Didn't they spend pretty much 6 years assuring us all that Twitter was right to do it?

Also nice to see the pivot to "so what it happened why do you care just move on", right on time.

People are complaining because complaining is a free source of entertainment. I haven’t seen any particular arguments that he can’t ban whoever he wants, just that it’s hypocritical and a dumb business move.

Seeing the Twitter Files turn into a hilarious flop has been entertaining tho. Imagine spending 44billion to uncover the shocking truth that the head of twitters safety org (a Jew) was in regular contact with the FBI. Scandalous stuff.

He's very capricious but criticism of him on Twitter (as opposed to blasting his location out to the world) has not been stifled at all.

It has though. Several of the journalists banned are simply those he’s had a beef with in the past, and haven’t said anything about Elonjet,

Even the Elonjet guy himself has not broken any “publishing of private information” rule, or done anything morally bad or in any way likely to cause harm to Elon Musk’s family. The whole thing is just autistic flailing at the notion that He, the richest man in the world, be subject to a tiny subset of the same rules that the rest of us live with.

The location of Elon’s private jet, or of Keffal’s commercial flight to the UK, or of Airforce 1 is public domain knowledge which everyone has a legal right to access.

But sure, his house, his rules. I’m just pointing out these are worse, arbitrary, petty, vindictive, hypocritical rules determined by one middle aged divorced man who appears to be having a mental health crisis. Which is why it’s absolutely addictive viewing.

Hours between these responses to the most mild mannered “both sides” take possible. He’s fucking seething!

Every FBI request shown in that Taibbi thread is for perceived violations of the Twitter ToS, absolutely nothing to do with any criminal case or investigation. This is as far from "nothing" as it gets.

How big are the chances then ElonJet could receive a taste of his own medecine?
because he's not a "person of public interest" or however the courts defined it, so anyone hiring a PI or some neet on fiver just to follow a paparazzi or him around for lulz would probably be called "stalking" and "harassment".

It also shows in the thread that Twitter did not suspend accounts if they did not find policy violations.

So accounts were flagged, then investigated.

There’s a million reasons to hate Twitter but these files ain’t it. Nothing burger

Edit to add Elon is now big mad at Bari for ignoring his posts.
