𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
"Biggest number wins" is how multiple choice voting works. The choice with the most individual votes wins, the others with less votes lose. It doesn't take a civics class to understand this.
Elon only giving two choices makes it simpler since whichever option surpasses 50% of the vote wins.
Elon never said a plurality of the vote wins when there are more than two choices on his twat polls

I know what you're saying and that's right, but I was replying to someone talking about the poll backfiring (I meant it as a sentiment type of thing regarding the majority opinion of the voter on it which is a majority wanting at least a week's suspension.)

I just checked the front page of the Farms.

Latest member: elonmusk

Okay, obviously not, but can you IMAGINE?
would be bad pr. besides, you really don't need an account for most of the site (can't remember if a&n is members only to prevent google bots from flagging the site or all of the thunderdome)

but it wouldn't surprise me if he lurks here, even if it's just browsing while taking a shit. whatever someone may think about the farms, it's still a content aggregator, and even if people don't understand what it means, they still get the value of it, same reason they read MSM and other shit that collects, filters and compacts what is "newsworthy".

reading also takes a lot less time than participating.

journos are trying to argue how revealing a persons location isn’t doxxing after having done so for years.

It’s a little bullshit, since it is public information, but that they keep trying to act cute about invading peoples privacy as much as possible makes me feel Rupar and others need at least a week suspension to cool off.

Elon would nuke this site from the internet (and succeed) the first time he reads a post making fun of his hair plugs. His skin is 44billion dollars thin.

He's very capricious but criticism of him on Twitter (as opposed to blasting his location out to the world) has not been stifled at all.

Now that the autism flavored Dorito dust has settled a bit and I've had my fun laughing at malevolent cunts getting owned by their own rules and tools, I figured I'd offer a more serious take on the situation.

I understand why Musk did what he did, but it won't do anything to keep him or his family safe, and it's a clusterfuck as implemented. We've already seen the damage histrionic bullshit artists can inflict with claims of imminent threat against life when they want inconvenient info or people scrubbed from the clearnet. Is Twitter going to ban people for linking to articles that happen to link to banned material? Are they going to blacklist articles or publications? It's a very slippery slope. Even if the ElonJet accounts on every social media platform got banned tomorrow there's no way to stop crazies from doing the same thing on their own in private. Wasting his time and credibility playing a quixotic game of banhammer whack-a-mole with broke brained retards will accomplish less than nothing. The best thing he could do right now is to shore up his personal security and use those deep pockets to assemble a legal team dedicated to pursuing every criminal and civil option to punish anyone threatening his family or businesses. Spare no expense and show no mercy.

Nobody was banned from Twitter for criticizing Musk. These people have been screeching about him for months without consequence. Everybody involved deliberately violated the updated ToS by linking to offsite versions of ElonJet and are lying about it. The only possible exception I'm aware of is Matt Binder who got permabanned when everyone else got a 7 day slap on the wrist. One thing that got overshadowed by this shit storm is that Twitter (with Andy Ngo's help) has also started cracking down on Antifa accounts that promote and organize violence and vandalism. Given the company he keeps, I wouldn't be shocked if Binder got dinged for something related to that instead of the ElonJet fiasco.

Elvis Chan is a well known SF based FBI agent that specializes in cybersecurity and such. It was already revealed last December that he was in contact with Yoel:

also why are Facebooks/Twitter's people that they designate to speak to the FBI all Jewish?

How big are the chances then ElonJet could receive a taste of his own medecine?

He's very capricious but criticism of him on Twitter (as opposed to blasting his location out to the world) has not been stifled at all.

He bans whoever he wants to ban then comes up with the justification why after the fact. This has happened with parody accounts, ye, and now a list of vocal journalists.

The Twitter Files, Part Six TWITTER, THE FBI SUBSIDIARY
https://twitter.com/mtaibbi/status/1603857534737072128

Look like Matt finally learned how to do Twitter threads because all the posts dropped at once. No more waiting hours for new posts.

The FBI is regularly in contact with every social media platform to discuss issues involving things such as individuals involved in ongoing cases, domestic terrorism, child trafficking, international influence etc, etc

This is literally the most nothing of nothing.

It's so sweet to see this scum of the earth have to endure a fraction of what they spend years demanding should happen to everyone they dislike. It's cathartic to the extreme to see them seethe and suddenly care about freedom of speech. As the Muskrat said: So inspiring to see the newfound love of freedom of speech by the press!

And some more reciepts on the fact Twitter was openly manipulating and censoring people. Oh what a lovely day.

You mean he bans people the exact same way Twitter did before he bought it and all of these people called it amazing and righteous, but now suddenly they have a issue with it? Why are they complaining then? Didn't they spend pretty much 6 years assuring us all that Twitter was right to do it?

Also nice to see the pivot to "so what it happened why do you care just move on", right on time.

If you have to write me a book on why the loli is actually a 900 year old immortal vampire queen and totally not fap bait you've lost me chief. I do like anime, yes. It has issues, I'm not ashamed to admit that, and loli is the cardinal sin. Defending loli is heinous.
which I did where? talking about something doesn't mean you have to agree with it, that's some reddit-tier argument.

it's not even about loli or whatever, that's missing the point. just look at the latest drama all about "it's just a plane bro" vs "anyone know this license plate?". nothing about it is illegal.
the minute musk was talking about free speech > anything else I knew shit like this would come up sooner or later, because absolute free speech doesn't work in a for-profit environment. there will always be other interests involved, least of all making money.
the other is the MUH HARM argument which know one can or want to define, be it getting called nigger or the wrong pronoun, whatever drawings of children, a plane's location or a web forum laughing about retards on the internet, but that's the main argument that works on normies and retards because it's the easies to repackage anything to get them to agree with you, because obviously "harming someone = bad" and muh feels.
case in point: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2022...-at-gamings-harassment-and-extremism-problem/

so the minute people start asking "where's the harm?", they might be able to see through all that bullshit (and call people out on it). but given this is clown world any discussion about free speech shoved in people's faces is a step in the right direction I guess.

Just to be clear lolicon is the sexualized depiction of a child, often NSFW, not just any drawing of a child. Getting run over by a train is disturbing but it's less of a problem than pedophilia. I don't know who that woman in the image is but it's not lolicon despite it being coomer bait.
says you, someone on a "harmful website responsible for driving multiple people into suicide" (depending who you ask) versus a "respectable, longtime investigative journalist" (depending who you ask) working for bloomberg. see how that works?

or as another kiwi put it later:
The reporting on Musk matches MSM reporting on most issues:
When old Twitter had issues? Silence. When Bad South African Man Twitter has issues? Failing business!
Regular pleeb retards get angy and post doxx? terrorism. Enlightened chad journalist retards get angy and post doxx? gib Pulitzer plz.
Standards are applied selectively to the point of no longer having standards.

it's the exact same reason people want blue checkmarks, we're long past the point where it matters what someone says (right or wrong), but who says it.

as for the train thing: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=run train
tbh I'd be more concerned about someone wanting to involve actual trains and children, same way I'd be highly suspicious of any animal abuser.

anyway, last post about it since it's better suited for deep thoughts...
