It looks like Musk's poll was not only a bot trap, but also a distraction for something even bigger: He's cleaning out the kiddie pool.

She notes Musk liked one of these tweets in her thread so it might be true (i don't know any piddie korn tags and i'm damn sure not checking them).

Is this the antifag sympathizing jew from a while back or a different heretic? Good fucking riddance regardless.

I love how we entered the timeline where the richest man on earth bought a multi billion dollar company and unbanned the 45th president of the United States social media account, causing breaking news coverage from all mainstream media outlets, pure panic from one portion of the population, and pure joy from the other.
On that note, it's also a win for capitalism. Even in an environment where the deck was stacked against free and open speech, some rich asshole can just buy the platform to shitpost and reset everything. And even though the executives didn't want to sell, they have to look out for the shareholder's pockets or they get sued into oblivion. This season of clown world is truly hilarious.

If the ADL gets kicked off twitter does that put them up to 110?
If the ADL gets kicked off, could we said then nothing of value was lost? :story:

Btw, the guys of ZeroHedge posted a interesting conclusion at this article.
Musk's departure from 'free speech absolutism' is undoubtedly due to the realities of the advertising market - with major companies having already suspended their campaigns on Twitter over Musk himself taking over the platform. According to Insider, advertising made up 89% of Twitter's revenues in 2021.

In response, Musk assured advertisers in late October that Twitter "will not become a free-for-all hellscape."

While Alex Jones won't be allowed back on the platform, the Babylon Bee is back after their ban over a transgender joke, as is Jorrdan Peterson and Kathy Griffin.

Maybe Elon should do an Alex Jones poll next? The frogs did, after all, turn out to be gay.

Look at all these mainstream media really pushing Mastodon, after years of demonizing any alt tech platform that came around for supposedly being a Natsee den:

The Independent:

BBC:

Wall Street Journal:

Have you ever before seen the mainstream media push an alt tech platform this hard?
Good luck, lol. I'm sure Mastodon is totally run competently and won't collapse with even a fraction of the userbase.

Read a bit deeper and you'll realize the implication of the old staff being 100% aware of these CP/CSAM tags and doing absolutely fuck all about it. More than a few of the people he shitcanned should be facing the fucking wall.

It literally already is:

BTW, here's yet another video (this one from the WSJ) showing that it's not just Elon Musk who's laying people off, all the other big tech companies are doing it too:

I will do a post later quoting some segments from the autobiography I said I was reading, and you'll see that he ran SpaceX the same way he's trying to run Twatter now.
This isn't him being belligerent towards Twatter or its employees, he just has a cut-throat management style that he thinks is a winning formula that can be applied to other industries as well. All these SJWs taking things personally and thinking this is about him targeting them to punish them or whatever, they should've read the book I am reading right now, then they would've known what's in store.

He should find out if any of them were mandatory reporters which would make it a crime for them to fail to report or do anything about such material, and then have them prosecuted.

Well he is targeting them and has more or less said so while openly taunting them about it, but there are also entirely rational reasons to take the axe to these useless fuckers, as they are a large part of why Twitter needs chemo in the first place. It might not work but without radical troonectomy, there's no chance.

Elon delivering a masterclass in public leadership

Happy warrior projecting energy and control of events

No more tweets whining about activists trying to destroy twitter. Instead, light hearted dismissal of his opponents. Oh theyre trying but it doesnt matter bless their widdle hearts. Hey ADL bro get off my back lol!

One way to deal with pitchforks is ignore them. The other way is to use wit to paint them as unserious. Troll them lightly. Elon taking the latter route

Nonces BTFO. It's amazing that twitter claimed it was impossible to do this for years.

They've all been looking for an excuse to shed the dead weight, but mass firings would disproportionately affect their stock price. Elon has given them the cover to start. Up to now, the the tech sector - at least those companies that aren't propped up by huge volumes of investor capital - have been relying on attrition to downsize by stealth, shedding workers in dribs and drabs and not replacing resignations, in order to avoid the stock market noticing, but now that Twitter has topped over the dam, there's no point in hiding it, because their stock prices are tanking anyway. If anything, shedding jobs now means that they might actually reduce the stock losses, by appearing to show good governance in response to an economic downturn. Anything to preserve the theoretical wealth of the executives.

There was a VERY BIG LAWSUIT (she referenced it twice) over how not only did Twitter allow child porn on their platform [not trade hashtags. But actual childporn] but they have monetized it.

So weird how everyone is coming at Elon with sharp elbow
