My Adventures With Superman

if that's the case then this opens up the can of worms of "how the fuck did this bitch not know Clark = Superman the entire fucking time?" in every single superman cartoon in existance. Like is lois that dumb she couldn't immediately put 2 & 2 together by not only his voice but his looks? Or are glasses just the magical face mask in cartoon world?
It's a fairly standard thing in all media. Even the ones where Batman or others figures it out it tends to be because they've done other things besides look at the appearance of Clark Kent and Superman.

There is more to it than that usually. In those mediums that go into it there's details about how he stands differently, adjusts his cadence, favours looser attire as opposed to the skin tight costume etc.

For an even more dramatic example look at the Cybersix cartoon. The character disguises herself as a male for her secret identity

With the context of knowing they are the same character it's easy to tell. However if you're not the viewer it's a bit more understandable, especially for people who have not met them in and out of costume, to not realise the truth. Another part of it for Superman is that in contrast to Lois as a reporter Clark is very much a background character. She's Lois Lane, hard hitting investigative reporters asking brazen questions at press conferences. Clark's bumbling in the background and going unnoticed.
Heck, on the Luthor side in multiple mediums when something terrible happens and Clark's in his normal guise Luthor often ends up shoving him somewhere so he's out of danger. Not typically out of any sense of moral obligation but because he doesn't want the added distraction. And as mentioned above the idea that Superman would ever live a life as dull as Clark's is genuinely difficult for Lex to wrap his head around. Despite being a genius he is is biased by his own mentality and with Superman's powers Lex Luthor would not spend a second as Clark Kent.

how the fuck did this bitch not know Clark = Superman the entire fucking time
Usually it's the fact that there's a lot of people who can't put two and two together despite what's right before their eyes, I think the best take on this is that Clark occasionally gets people commenting on him looking like Superman and his response is to say "thanks" and walk away.

To promote Batman v Superman, Cavill wanted to test Clarks disguise and stood in front of a BvS poster in Times Square to see if anyone recognised him, no one did.

Jake from Corridor Crew tried out if Superman's disguise trick would work with the people he works with (made even harder that he has a beard and couldn't shave it off). Only one member of CC saw through his trick. So Clark using glasses and acting different never bothered me (though Reeves was the only actor who really made it work).

For me, the most unrealistic part of Superman's disguise is how he fits those big red boots into those tiny wing tip shoes!

I’d like to point out that Lois is mad at Clark for lying to her about his secret identity…when she’s already lied to him at least twice in the show AND specifically told Clark she thinks Superman is a liar and was going to expose every one of his secrets.

Are we getting yet another variation of a secret identity discovery or revelation as seen in shows like Invincible and Kevin Smith's He-Man reboot where the female character who made the discovery or had the reveal made went into "What about me? Why didn't you think about MY FEELINGS?!? ME ME ME ME ME ME" etc. And once again, another clip from this show where you see it is animated in the most flaccid way possible. It seems like all of the cartoons that use this sort of fake anime-esque art style end up just being used as a way for the writers to vent their personal frustrations over whatever has gone on in their lives.

Just a reminder, there was an animated Superman series that didn't go into “What if Superman was a weepy loser whose friends hated him” territory and the characters don't sound like they're scripted by neurotic millennial writers in therapy and the character designs are actually attractive and aesthetically pleasing because the art style isn't dollar store chain-brand diet anime.

Yes, we are getting EXACTLY that. People are already comparing my-Lois to both Amber and Teela the He-Man thing.

Hilariously, you actually said the comic answer at the end. I guess his glasses have some Kryptonian tech that disguises him, whatever?

The simpler explanation is usually just that people are not looking for Superman and thus don't see the similarities, especially given Clark's low status. No one would expect God to be a wagie at the Daily Planet. Egos also prevent it. Clark straight up tells Lois he is Superman in STAS, but it gets passed off by her as just him being an asshole. Lex has also figured out Clark is superman, but the idea that the wagie he insulted an hour ago is a God wrecks his ego to the point of rejection.
there was a great short comic in the early days of the 80s reboot that has Lex devoting his company's resources to figure out Superman's identity, the computer techs come back that it's 99.999% probably Clark and he's like "lol no that's retarded. Superman must be some great man and not some dipshit. fuck all of you"

People literally saw Christopher Reeves pull the same thing on film andeven the viewers thought they were two different guys. People forget the power of acting

To be fair, Amber and Teela were whiny bitches (Teela hunts Adam down to the afterlife and proceeds to nag him more), but at the very least there was SOME ground to feel hurt that they weren't in on the secret, they were long-time friends-turned-girlfriends of the main character, so they at least have a reason to feel like their trust was broken; in this show, haven't Lois and Clark known each other for like, what, a month or so? In which she's lied multiple times and told Clark how much she wants to 'expose' Superman?

NA anime voice actors are cheap AF and more often than not non union. Compared to the nonanime voice actors who're most definitely not cheap AF and most definitely are union members.

Edit: On the creative side of things. They probably went with the anime voice actors to sell the show as anime or animesque at worse.

Stunts like that make me really missed the 80ies and 90ies cartoons that had animesque features. Which back then they didn't advertise that shit and left it to the viewers to notice them or not.

Lois threw herself off a building so Clark would exposes his secret identity, but the big issue is that Clark lied to her about being Superman. -_-

There is something horrifically insane in "I'm going to put myself in harm's way to force you into revealing a personal secret, and if I die you're going to live with it". It's selfish to the point of psychopathy (especially as there are no stakes in the secret being kept) and whoever writes it should be commited... to a chopper ride.

Post-Voltron FtM Pidge?
My first thought was Shiro's boyfriend in season seven that got killed off by Sendak and his fleet almost immediately, making most of the fandom seethe to this day. Mir really is a sameface studio.

Well, Lois pulled that in Superman 2... and Clark still didn't blow his cover (until later)
