My experience with Christian (featuring a new original art piece)

I always laugh when Chris throws the "Bully" label around considering he's admitted multiple times to bullying himself, his ass kissers being no better than trolls or weens who I personally say are secretly getting their jollies out of watching Chris fail as much as anyone. Chris's attempts at negotiation are a kin to a child holding their breath in order to get what they want, all The Coward needed to do was grab his popcorn, sit back and wait until Chris turned blue and passed out.

When I first made the order I specifically requested that he autograph the certificate. I personally think he screwed it up on purpose just to spite me.
Coward, you are handsome and I would give you China.
If I were you, I would still have that case against him open. The messages just make him seem like a worm trying to get out of trouble.

I love how Chris STILL claims that Michael Snyder tried to bring him to court as a "get rich quick" scheme and still claims that because of this "scheme" the Hobby shop went out of business. This is roughly the third of fourth time he's made this claim.... I love it. Because, you know, Chris didn't get brought to court because he did something wrong, he got brought to court because Snyder wanted some quick tugboat cash.

And of course, this wouldn't be complete without Chris declaring that his HRC army would love to hear about how he's further being bullied... because it worked wonders with the whole Walmart thing

It's interesting how Chris seems to see the power dynamic.

By doxing The Coward, he shot his one bullet. Aside from doxing him other places, and maybe marginally adding to the headache, there was nothing else he could do. He also acknowledged over and over again how much leverage The Coward had, and how much the eBay case and possible future actions would really do damage to him. So he seemed to be aware that The Coward held all the cards.

But he still played it like he had the cards. He made all kinds of demands and final offers.

It is typical of Chris of course, but it makes me realize what is so terrible about Chris' negotiation techniques. He flips back and forth way too much between strong and demanding and weak and conciliatory, often using them both in the same message. In general, both can be viable techniques, and you can transition between them if you want to demonstrate flexibility up until a certain line, or something like that. But Chris tries to do both simultaneously, which makes him sound like a clown. His attempts at negotiation always sound like "I am a poor misunderstood victim, so MEET ALL MY DEMANDS RIGHT NOW"

This video is the best illustration of this. "You know what would really inspire me to continue doing the comics? I tell you what--[removes glasses, grows more stern]--you take down that ED page forever."

I think you just earned "Christorical Figure" status simply because you were being a totally reasonable person who simply held Chris to his broken promises he keeps trying to worm out of.

So much wonderful content... My favourite aspect, I think, is what this says about the way Chris twists memories to fit his cartoon hero narrative. You might have thought that Chris hit Snyder with his car while yet again trying to evade a ban for his own unacceptable behaviour, subsequently being arrested, found guilty and getting off relatively lightly because Snyder felt sorry for him, but you'd be wrong.

No, what actually happened was that Snyder (possibly with the help of Megan, the Greene County Trolling Conspiracy and the International Kick-The-Autistic Federation) decided to try to get rich by taking Chris to court, and [SCENE MISSING] resulting in the GAMe PLACe going out of business.

This is gold. A+++

What I love most about your correspondence with Chris is that he knew the case would be closed once you received the new medallion and commission, so of course he decided to drag his feet for over a week before starting on them. His horribly skewed priorites make my heart level rise.:heart-full:

(Also, I had no idea the Game Place closed until I read this thread. That's... kind of sad, actually. I totally would've visited the place even for non-Christorian reasons. I hope Snyder's doing alright. :heart-empty:)
