A lot of them became furries, to absolutely no one's surprise. There's still a few diehard ponyfags around too though. I almost respect them for their ride or die dedication to the show and fandom.

The old fandom is pretty much as dead as can be, outside of a few individuals who cared for the characters and the message, the current majority right now is just porn addicts keeping the relevancy going through gooning, or our boys at the chan who "have learned to write better".
The resurgence on tik tok however of new watchers has been the most baffling thing to me- most of it is either old ships the fandom has already discarded to the ocean or, even weirder, horror AUs, here's two of the most popular:
-My Little Worms - A Disease Story - This is a very deranged off-the-wall premise that can only be compared to having a seizure and animating it.
-Black Tree - I can't find one better cataloging this, so just mute the "I'm so quirky" fag and read, you don't lose anything.

It depends on what you mean by "around". 2010s bronies didn't quit the internet, but the ponyfags have largely scattered, since there is little that holds them together anymore, after the show has ended and multiple hubs like derpibooru and 4chan /mlp/ shit the bed.
It also depends on what you mean by "brony". You can't really be solely focused on pony anymore unless you're a gooner. The show has ended, the last few seasons were shit and the new Generation is a disaster that nobody likes or watched, but the people that moved on from the show didn't stop liking Friendship is Magic or the fandom. I think for many they are in the fandom with one foot while doing something else.
There are also still conventions happening every year, some with a big concentration of oldfags that make you feel like its 2012 again.

The final remaining bronies who aren't coomers, furries, or fanfic writers are just like the WWII Japanese holdouts who kept fighting the war decades after it ended. Only instead they're still clinging to dying forums and imageboards while still rocking the same Rainbow Dash steam pfp for the last 13 years.

Most of them have moved on, be it anime women, furries or (for the few I've seen) grew out of it but some of them have stuck with it.
personally, i've moved back to pokemon (mostly theres content that was still being made), G5 I don't care for and the ending to G4 was garbage. Now I'm more of a lurker with the occasional story to tell.
I knew it was going to end eventually but I figured I'd stick with it while it lasts

My main question, and it's literally the most plausible theory I have, is that the creator is trying to fund an adventures style animation series, most likely porn, with his own OC, the brown-haired clown in the trailer video, with these mares, and is using Coomer bait to get there, but is it confirmed?
I ask because the odd premise for the YouTube video is that it is an "AI mare designed to be a nanny for your children", and I know how it sounds considering the rest of the video but you never know when these people are being ironic or not.
The basic thing is that It sounds like it's meant to be a cute premise, but then you get shots like these:
And if there was still any magical doubt that this might just be an innocent little project we get to some of the Patreon stuff:

The whole thing is yet another furfag walking in and trying to play innocent and professional to milk cash from midwits right down to playing the "I really don't wanna do porn, buuuut..." gimmick as a reason to gouge more money via patreon. It's an offshoot of the Open Pony furfags from Second Life spearheaded by that lizardfucker from EqD because it turns out running a highly specific news site using blog software in 2024 doesn't make that much income, all of it feels alien and forced because a few moments of research reveals it actually is and the way they turn catty and hostile when you point all this out just confirms it.

I did more research and kind of did see the light on the staggering amount of degeneracy I missed out on before, and I know about the bat pony deviancy from the old days, but I was just hoping to see if this had been brought up before on the thread and if someone knew of more information regarding his deviancy.

For clarification, the full summary, and this gets quite funny:

The kind of videos he used to make.
The other one was Wulfric Hunting who in Jan. of 2023 was RP grooming the girl in the picture "MariThePegasister" in Discord voice chats, essentialy, he groomed and "raped" (in discord rp) her as a 15-year-old, and Wubby, at the time moderator, also in league with Wulfric was trying to cover it up, effectively gaslighting the victim into silence and doubling down on it being her fault after it came out that Wulfric was indeed a pedo. (Somehow this guy is still around while Wubby isn't.)
This guy (LTO) met Wubby about 5 years ago, Wubby groomed him in an MLP discord server when he was 16 and Wubby 18, and he has never recovered since by the way he talks and acts - I don't even think he is aware of it.
Fast forward to mid-2023, Wubby stops talking to LTO and starts doing porn commissions because of money, about two weeks into his new work he starts incentivizing some new rando called Stellar into doing porn of LTO's "Flower" OC - something he is very fond of as to him it is free publicity - free publicity coming from a Gooner who talks and draws like this:

LTO proceeds to clarify, again, that he is okay with sexual content in his discord, as some kind of defense against the slander that he "is not okay with porn of his oc and hates those who do it" and in the next paragraph confirms that there are minors on his discord server (I didn't understand this powerplay).
Now, I hear you asking, following what can only be described as high defamation in the Pony Blender community, how does a man prove his innocence in the face of accusations such as "I find people who are attracted to my mare are losers"?

Afterward, he goes on 3 worthless tangents, on how Wubby was lying about his friends not liking his previous pony porn and animations to garner sympathy, on how his friendship with LTO ended with bad blood due to drama, and going into an even more worthless story on how Wubby was always broke, got money from said friends (even winning 500$ on a Minecraft contest and then defrauding some company for a GPU.
And, most importantly, again, on the real nature of his view of his fans sexualizing his robot mare, dropping the most original™ of arguments to secure the audience vote, and that will surely age well considering these guys' track history:
He then proceeds to go into detail on how Wubby started damage control, sharing a video of himself and his friends live reacting to discord message deletion - Homeboy has a very noticeable lisp, shocking for his profession, I know.
And continues with a description of Wubby's new plans to gaslight members of the community into thinking LTO is a bully - With a surprise appearance at the end of such members of the foalcon community coming to Wubby's aid to help cancel LTO.
It then ends with a justification for all of this worthless behavior, jealousy, Wubby was jealous of the guy's success in making a successful pony blender project and wanted the same for his porn commissions, so he started spreading retarded rumors by normal human standards to steal away customers for his porn project, but when that didn't work the community booted him out and he has yet to recover - as per his admission:

Everybody knows about bronies being massive spergs and coomers, but I personally think the whole drama relating to lefty bronies "cancelling" fascist bronies was hilarious as shit. First of all, cartoon rainbow horses and extremist political ideologies, second the idea of "cancelling" possibly some of the most hated people on the internet as if they would care or not have other places to fall back on, lol.

Any time you see a brony that is very vocal about politics is really funny because you cannot take them seriously. It doesn't matter what their politics are, the fact they make their personality obsessing over a children's cartoon about technicolor horses while being an ardent communist or a fascist is just too funny. Huge bonus if they're unashamed about getting off to the porn as well.
