Given how much he lies about other aspects of his background, (and how much he lies to people around him in general) he might just be a pathologial liar.

Or maybe, given he already (allegedly) commited one rape we know of, maybe he left Egypt because of a similar crime which is why he says he can't go back... and would explain why he's lying about being from another country, in an attempt to hide a warrant or a criminal record.

If you mean why he picked Greece specifically? Only thing that comes to mind is because could pass as vaguely Greek-looking.

Some Egyptians do claim Greek heritage. There's been a bunch of Greeks there since before Cleopatra's time - and she's supposedly Greek in origin.

But knowing Nader, I doubt it means anything more than "doing it Greek style" (aka up your ass, because he's Real Man and dey don't take it up da pooper and all that.)

Because even Egyptians, do not want to be Egyptians. Being Greek is a big step up in North Africa. No one wants to be associated with it, if they can help it. The lower classes there have a great deal of self loathing. Then they get to places like Canada, and the US, where they find out they can get brown person victim points.

Because greeks are European, and that makes them at least partly civilized. An Arab is likely to throw you off a building for being gay, even if he himself is a homosexual.

Not supposedly - We have a really good genealogy of her family so we know for a fact that she was Greek.

Anyhow, the only Egyptians who have any claim to a shred of Greek heritage are Copts, (who are descended from the actual, honest to god egyptians, even their language is descended from ancient egyptian) NOT the Arabic "egyprians" who are descended from Mohammed's horde of illiterate savages who claim 'we wuz pharos an' sheeeeit' with even less foundation than the africans who do it, since there WAS a Kushite dynasty.

He didn't buy it with his money though, if he did. He bought it with the stolen charity money. So I could see him doing it, A) because it props up his ego and fucks with someone he dislikes, and B) isn't paying for it personally.

Besides, the other thing besides physical harm he has given a woman is psychological harm. and probably drugs.

Edit: It has been pointed out to me that the ring DeeDee is wearing is the same ring that Chantal bought. So this speculation is all wrong on my part.
