Name a game you hate but everyone else loves - Because you have opinions too <3

Breath of the Wild. Ok hate is strong, it seemed great but the whole thing where your weapons break if you just look at them funny made it so I couldn't get past the first hour.
Yeah, it really was just there to force you to try new weapons. Early game it's insufferable because of your lack of inventory space. The only reason I was able to stomach it was because everything else with the game clicked with me and as a Zelda fan I had been waiting for it since 2014. If I were you I'd give it another shot, but if it bothers you that much then by all means fuck that shit, I agree.

Based on the reviews for it being very positive I assume that DDLC Plus could count. I don't fully hate it but I hate some of the concepts they put in the game like the whole reveal that DDLC was actually a weird science experiment and Monika was meant to basically be a Truman Show experiment for a bunch of scientists. It's really bad because it undermines the original game of Monika being a Visual Novel character who gains sentience. It also is a classic trademark of bad horror where the sequel/remake tries to make the villain more sympathetic when they already are when this stuff really isn't necessary and adds nothing but diminishes the value of the original game. Like with a lot of bad movie sequels/prequels I'm just going to have to pretend this reveal doesn't exist.

tl;dr Don't fully hate the game but something in it actually heavily undermines good shit about the original game.

I didn't care for doom eternal. It felt way too arcadey, too many bright flashy lights and colors and buttons. Am I playing a shooter or a resource management platformer?

Paper Mario TTYD. I'm nearing the end of chapter 5 and I'm really trying to enjoy it, but I just don't think I can. I feel like compared to the original there's just so much meaningless filler, especially backtracking. I think the game would benefit greatly from being shorter.
