Fire Emblem. The series seems to attract some of the biggest autists I've ever met and every one of them seems to think it's the greatest game ever made.
Breath of the Wild. Ok hate is strong, it seemed great but the whole thing where your weapons break if you just look at them funny made it so I couldn't get past the first hour.
What sucks about Dishonored is that you have to be super stealthy and nonviolent to get the good endings, but all the fun mechanics involve murdering people so I hate how this game punishes you.
I really liked stealthing through the game, but I also did it while voluntarily restricting myself not to use the wallhack ability, which made the game a lot more tense and engaging. You actually had to pay attention to things like sound and guard patterns.
Granted if you dislike stealth it's going to make it ten times worse, but I like stealth. The wallhack ability made the entire game so trivial it wasn't even fun, more like filing a tax report. The obvious answer is obvious, you just have to tediously sit in front of your computer and execute the button presses.
As for a game I dislike, I'd say just about any F2P game. League, Gachashit, Battle Royale. Take your pick. I simply can't perform the mental gymnastics required to justify playing one of these games where the core gameplay loop is designed around making the game just tedious but addicting enough for you to crack and give up your CC info, or just the right amount of P2W if it's multiplayer.
Halo, the multiplayer with friends was fun but the single player bored me but what worst all the FPS had to copy it and there was a bloat of Halo copies that I liked even less.

I don't hate that series but I struggle to get into it. Classic Shining Force, Ogre Battle, and Langrisser are so much more enjoyable, as are some of those more obscure strategy titles like Bahamut Lagoon (shout out to our nigga byuu), FEDA, Dragon Force 1/2, etc....

I dont really hate it, but man do I find Hellblade overrated as all hell, very boring gameplay and story that tbh is just ok, the graphics are great for a game that was release only at 30 and the facial capture is fantastic, but those are such superficial elements that I cant help but think that there is no reason for this game to be a game at all
Most Shmups seeing how the majority of them end up just being "remember the exact pattern of this bosses movement and attacks or get fucked". I wish I could get more into Touhou seeing how I enjoy the interesting character concepts and the lore behind them, but holy shit is it annoying to play on lunatic mode. I wish more of them followed the model of Twinkle Star Sprites and to an extent Phantasmagoria of Flower View.
I guess this is more of a divisive game, but I have no idea how anyone can enjoy League of Legends. (or other MOBAs for that matter)
You or a teammate makes one mistake early on, and now you're trapped in a losing game for like another 30-45 minutes.
Why bother playing a game like that when there's a million other competitive multiplayer games where you have an actual fighting chance that isn't decided in the first ten minutes.
Halo 4. The single player modes are boring, the writing is atrocious, and the actual gameplay feels a bit too much like Call of Duty IMO. Halo 5 is even worse, but people don’t praise that game nearly as much.
As someone who has the platinum, I can attest to that. That game crashes under so many fucking circumstances, and it doesn't crash to the dashboard, its a hard crash.
friday night fuckshit
i haven't seen a single person willing to criticize the game other than its god awful input method/coding, do people really suck the dick of shitty newgrounds art that much?
and while we're on the topic of newgrounds autism, henry stickmin has nearly no substance to it other than "haha do you get it it's a reference to another thing" every 2 seconds. it's so tiring
