I'm of the opinion that if you're living in an Anglophone nation that you're doing your child a disservice if you aren't picking their name from a list of names traditional within your ethnic group, from lauded monarchs or the New Testament.

Adolf, Benito, Josef

This is what I've been Hussein for a long time. We need Mao of these types of names to encourage a melting Pol Pot type of culture. Mugabe we can incentivize parents to name their children with good names like these somehow. Or threaten to Castro them out of society altogether if they don't.

I also like the names Ingrid and Briar, they're suitable for both genders imo.

The Norse have sone pretty great names: Thorbjorn, Sigvald, Sigurd, Eyjolf, Sverrir, Harald, Haakon.

All of those sound like names of buff dudes who would beat the shit out of you and call you a fag as he takes all your property without breaking a sweat.

I always thought Israel made for a pretty badass sounding first name. Plus members of the tribe will assume you're one of them. Who knows what doors might unintentionally open?

I like months as names and places as names in general. April, May, August. Holland, Dutch, Florence, Jericho, Sydney. Most of them are less common, but instead of being some made up bullshit or something really obscure they're still rooted in the culture and familiar to everyone. Something about that feels strong and right.
