This might actually be her smartest move in years. Narcy already has a somewhat existant following (even if it's just weens) and twitch actually has quite a few options for streamers to make money of streaming to the point where they can actually survive off streaming. I haven't seen what she's been streaming but if he does start streaming OOT again there would be some sort of comotion in the speedrunning comunity that might actually bring narcy back some fame

He played some Smash and dicked around with OOT for a bit.

It's nothing interesting and I wouldn't get my hopes up. Twitch is usually pretty strict on vlogging but since he's partnered he couldn't get banned even if he twirled around on camera for 12 hours babbling about suicide like he already does. That he got his old account revived + name changed also suggests he's still in touch with a few Twitch admins.

Wasn't he pretty close with twitch back when he was actually an important OOT runner

All of the top streamers (specifically the top 5%, which Twitch calls "influencers" for advertising purposes) are buddy-buddy with Twitch and many have admins swing by their chats on the regular. Cosmo used to grab 4,000 - 10,000 viewers easily,. which would've put him in the top 1%. Speedrunning was also something Twitch started to signal boost as GDQ got popular because they wanted to support charity fundraising streams. Romscout (a well-known Castlevania speedrunner/glitch hunter and GDQ's former event director) actually works for Twitch as charity event manager now.

Even so, just being partnered (which gives you a sub button + power to run ads) has major privileges. It's a legal contract, so any punishment for rulebreaking has to be handled by Twitch's partner support team and not by regular admins who can shutter unpartnered channels on a whim. Cosmo closed his old Twitch account so that he got it re-opened + name changed means he got a special exception.

he doesn't know

tl;dr Twitch has done a 360 following the closure of Justin.tv so vlog streams are 100% OK now.

Jesus Christ. This is why he came back.

I think this is Amazon's push against Youtube and social media in general. They're trying to create e-celebs by inviting their streamers to vlog their lives.

Devil's advocate says it could be anyone's asshole until the pic can actually be verified. The anon claiming to be PMed the image could easily be a random shitposter since they didn't provide proof and spoke in spoilers. Those posts probably belong to Bui.

Because they dun wanna be grocery baggers or delivery drivers or servers. They're special and deserve a treat for being oppressed* so they all want to be a quirky tech guru or the next Walt Disney/Stan Lee, without putting in a drop of hard work or perserverance.

*holing up online and crying about how much the world hates them until they develop a complex that can only be treated with a heavy "self care" regimen of weed and ice cream

Cosmo was one of the earliest, if not first streamer to get partnered with twitch if im not mistaken. He's probably made them a fair bit of money, and somewhere out there is a video of him talking about twitch approaching him about some kind of opportunity, which at the time i think was the partner program. No idea where that video is now though.

But Cosmo was probably pretty well at the forefront of all that shit when twitch was really picking up steam.

Cosmo was in the first group to get a sub button on Twitch, he was around when it was still justin.tv. He's definitely got friends/connections on Twitch's staff. In a Reddit post awhile back, he mentioned that he made trips to San Francisco (Twitch offices) and was told of impending changes directly from Twitch staff in-person (source:https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comme..._shear_ask_me_almost/?st=iwze0ezb&sh=698edadc, highest post is from his deleted reddit account).
