I'm in the same boat as you, I was there during the "Ocarina is DONE" run watching live on stream, used to watch his WW old streams all the time too.

He used to be a man passionate about his hobby, an ugly gross-toothed man, but a happy man who made others happy.

I think there are quite a few of us in the same boat. It's wacky to see how fucked up he has become. Given how autistic speedrunning can be, he seemed pretty 'normal' and chilled. Like if you met him at one of the GDQ events then you could just say hi and have a chat with him and it wouldn't be spaghetti city (like with most other top speedrunners). Now he's legit crazy and it's because of all the fucking substances he's been putting inside his body since he made the decision to be a woman. Oh, but after all this shit he's not a woman. He's some weird in-between mishmash of a person with serious mental issues. Turns out there are some things in life you can't choose.

In a parallel universe, Cosmo is still uploading cool new OoT skips and glitches to Youtube, and streaming WR attempts and bingo races. :/

If he's using his old account again he might actually be able to drum up some brief attention from running Zelda, but I doubt it will last. I think he's burned too many bridges, and I mean, with a franchise as popular as Zelda it's not like there's going to be a shortage of people running it. His best bet is probably people that remember the name Cosmo from speedrunning, but didn't actively follow and keep up with his antics. Even then, he'd have to fix his current personality to keep people hooked.

She's cute. I wonder how she feels about Cosmo's transition. It appears that exes have nothing but loathe for each other some of the time anyways so the transition might not even factor in as it happened after the breakup, I assume.

On her twitch she kind of looks like a MtF trans herself - I guess a tomboy would probably a better description here. Anyway, not a good sign if you're a natural female. In the picture she's cute though! I guess she can be when she puts some effort into her appearance? Which she doesn't seem to do when streaming.

Also, for anyone curious 0xA101 is equivalent to 41,217 in decimal but I think that's not intended, since it's a random number. She probably only thought 0xA101 looked cool.

Yeah it's her. Like I said tho, she lost a lot of weight (even when compared to the most recent photos on that insta) and her style is even more Tumblrous (short violet hair screaming PAY ATTENTION TO ME I'M AN INTERESTING PERSON).

If she's trans... then I'm attracted to males I guess. I think she has a pretty face and great smile, just terrible style like I said.

Pre-tumblr-overdose: Solid 6/10. If you notice, all of her photos have filters applied to them. If you look at photos of attention-hungry ladies on social media and think that's how they look for real then hmm you're gonna have a bad time. They only post the absolutely most complimenting ones online and even then they're enhanced for maximum effect.Yeah, she's not posting photos of her waking up without makeup, I guarantee it.

Why is he focused on the new Zelda when there's thousands of games he could be speedrunning right now?

Because it's new, and thus provides two huge benefits.

The first being a wider audience. New games always draw a crowd. Cosmo/Narcissa returning to speedrunning would be enough to garner attention as is, but the fact that it's the new Zelda will pull in people who don't even know Narcy and just want to see the new game.

The second being the lack of any sort of difficult strategies. Breath of the Wild is a new game, and speedruns for it are likely to be fairly straightforward at first. Returning to games like OOT would be far, far more difficult. By the time Cosmo originally quit speedrunning and had his "perfect WR" snatched from him, a new route had been discovered that he ended up having trouble learning. With that in mind, jumping back into the old games he used to run would probably result in an embarrassing failure. It'd be the gaming equivalent of a washed up old sports star returning for one last season and stinking up the joint.

Zelda as a choice for BIG RETURN is understandable - "zelda for wii u" was teased like 6 years ago and the series has a huge following, I'd argue that amongst the Nintendo fanbase there's no game that even comes close in terms of hype. People go apeshit about that game, thousands of Switches are being bought for that title alone.

Besides Cosmo was known for Zelda speedruns (OOT/Wind Waker) so I guess that he thinks that people will be curious about his reactions/opinions.

And honestly many would (me included) if he didn't turn into a freaking nutjob.

And yeah I agree with Jacob, getting WRs in the first weeks of the game lifespan will be a matter of "who finds the best route/best glitches/grinds the most".

While if you want to become somebody in OOT speedrunning community - it's a matter of months, if not years, of regular training.

I really REALLY liked Cosmo. I really dislike Narcissa, what a fucking egomaniac. And trust me, gender has nothing to do with my feelings towards her.

I hope that the stream will fail miserably, not because I want her to have financial trouble, but because that experience would be humbling and very good for her personality I think.

Cosmo gave up on OOT when his record got beat. Then he tried to speedrun TP:HD, but that didn't last long either AFAIK. I can see history repeating itself and running BotW getting too difficult, at which point he'll give up and viewership will plummet again. The cycle would probably repeat, with Cosmo swearing that the next game will be the one that'll make her famous.

It kinda goes to show that Cosmo doesn't really have a long term plan. Just "Play BotW and I'll become glorious!"

The usual result was Adrian ignoring Narcy, or even in one instance, posting a picture of her with her new man shortly after Narcy tweeted at her. Oh god... this actually reminds me a girl i went to highschool with. She was the "edgy grimdark emo goth" chick, but she was actually pretty damn cute, and had a damn good rack. But at some point she cut her blond hair short, dyed it black, and just got fucking awkward. She's actually got an encyclopedia dramatica page, (and would probably have a lolcow thread if the milk kept flowing, but it seems to have dried up).
