Holy shit he has no chance anymore.

Suicide when he loses a big tournament? And I mean gets godstomped in the opening round.

He's never going to have the guts to enter anything that involves irl interaction so the worst he could lose is a purely online one. And even then his permaban from Twitch means he's not going to be able to enter anything that streams there. Maybe he can organize his own tournament with all his own orbiters?

I kinda doubt he'd even win that.

I wonder if turning tranny has damaged Cosmo's reflexes at all. I know he suffered serious carpal tunnel in his wrists, and his anemic appearance doesn't speak well for his health or physical constitution, but still, he shouldn't have lost any baseline skill, but he looks as if he has.

I’m pretty sure HRT can have a side effect of osteoporosis-arthritis. Not to mention the fact that Cosmo is almost thirty? His quick twitch reflexes are slowing down to the point where it actually would have an effect. I think the high ceiling for age in competitive gaming is an average of around 27.

I don't know if there's a medical link between HRT and decreased reflexes (I wouldn't rule it out) but it's very established that being in poor physical health negatively affects general motor skills. There's a reason why all the top pro gamers are reed thin or (at most) skinnyfat.

The "Fighting Game Community" has a few big figures who are fat weed smokers, Cosmo has poor health habits but it's not an excuse if he under performs in Smash.

Most of it comes from muscle memory and execution, practice helps a lot even if your reflexes aren't as good as they used to be.

This is very :optimistic:, but if there's a true push towards masculinity then it's more likely it's Cosmo trying to capture his long lost skills.

Given that so much of his hope was riding on this game, what kind of cope will we be seeing now that its come out and he is dogshit at it?

Streaming all the time losing matches but acting like he is happy.
Claiming that the game is disappointing and not as good as melee and going back to autstic botw categories.

Bets on how long til it ditches the game entirely and resort to ebegging again?

My bet is on less time than the amount of time she had the "X days til smash" banner on the streams.

Narcissa is currently losing against the Challenger Bots while trying to farm unlocks.
Good luck making a name for himself competitively. The bots are good in this game but they still don't compare to a good player and it's still very realistically possible for an average player to beat them.

On the bright side, Cosmo's waifu Zelda is actually good for the first time in the series, so he got his wish. Now he just needs to learn how to actually play her without blaming the game.
