Why cosplay as a character from one property then play a game from another?
To me this reads like he wanted to debase himself in a pseudo-public place (because lets be real he doesnt go outside), with the excuse of cosplaying an anime girl.
He isn't even trying with the look; this is obviously not a serious attempt to look presentable. The lighting isn't even flattering for godssake. Humiliation fetish shit.
The guy gets a world record run (technically speaking. The circumstances are pretty lame) and a crumb of recognition and instead of, I don't know, attempting a Goldeneye run in another category or something, decides to get all dolled up in a look that would have you arrested for public indecency were you to go outside.
He's addicted to being at rock bottom.
