That's the logic all troons have.

You start to notice and realize too, that most (The ones that make themselves known for being complete clowns) have the same support network whic consists of other trans, no parental guidance, mainly left to tend to themselves with their group warping their already broken mind, just looking at narcissas discord and chats you can see its full of trans and fetishists that want to dick narcissa, i'd assume turning trans you'd need a lot of support and especially with your family, the hormones fucking your brain on top of all the other mental problems you'd have just puts you in the hole with Narcissa or CyberDemon.

Trooning out is treated as a bandaid fix for more serious but ultimately more mundane issues. People don't want to be stressed, depressed or unable to find their place in life. That shit is boring af. I'm really a girl stuck in a boys body. Yes, that sounds exotic and befitting of my outrageous individuality.

And because they misdiagnose themselves and self medicate, those underlying issues remain and often become amplified by their newfound difficulties relating to transitioning.

Yeah, you said it, bro, Narcissa has no place in those communities. Wait...

The not belonging to the smash and streaming communities part of this tweet really confuse me. Narcissa has been going on for months now that Smash Ultimate is going to be the game that saves his livelihood and ends the tailspin that is his life. How is this game going to save his life and career if he's already disassociating himself both the communities that would give him both the money and the support he desperately needs on his streams? This is made even more dumb by the fact that he's already said he will not participate at tournaments, which is the only other main source of income a professional Smash can get. Just don't see how continuing on a hermit lifestyle and not having any real life interactions is going to turn things around.

Cosmo, like all trannies, associated being a woman with having value and getting lots of money and attention just for existing. He didn't want to speedrun anymore and without speedruns there's no reason to pay attention to Cosmo Wright the dull, nerdy white guy. He just deluded himself into believing that Narcissa Wright would solve his insecurity and thirst for celebrity at the same time.

Cosmo ostracised themself from those communities

Gaming - Went full troon after John did a Number on him, telling fans to fuck off and insulted them
Streaming - Streamed dick girl porn to get a perma ban from twitch, banned from youtube (temp)
Smash - Prays 5 times a day to Smash, always in the direction of Japan. Doesnt compete, doesnt try and make 'content' just has a timer to countdown to the day that it will fix everything
Speedrunning - You kinda fucked yourself on that with zeldaspeedruns. Not to mention making a category of speedrun for yourself AND EVEN THEN DIDNT HOLD THE RECORD FOR IT

Faggot.

Dunno why Cosmo said this apropos of nothing.

Doesn't matter, anyway, since what he's saying still doesn't make sense. Nobody goes out to be a "good role model," and "too much pain" is only a good excuse for lethargy and apathy, and doesn't properly explain actively going out of your way to be a bad human being. You know, such as by deleting an entire website's archives to advertise yourself, or trying to bully other users and abusing your clout on a platform. Typically, it takes a bad person to consistently do bad things, not some innocent victim of circumstances.

I've never seen a series of posts where I literally agree with every point made. Well done.
I've never seen you make a series of more than two posts without redirecting the topic back onto yourself. Well done.

Am I the only one who thinks he was never likable, even before the trooning?

A former friend of his was posting here months back and more or less described Cosmo as a sour asshole who wasn't good to the people close to him.

I still remember the 2013 drama between him and Mirrored (a couch commentator on his AGDQ Wind Waker run) because Mirrored's commentary tilted the fuck out of him. Cosmo broke off their friendship, demodded him in his stream chat and passively let his fanbase ran Mirrored out of the community. It took them almost a year to make up.

I'm also just inclined to believe that you don't transform from a beloved community figure to a psycho shamelessly obsessed with being popular unless the seed of assholery was already there.

For my part, he always seemed very aloof. I attributed it to autism at the time, but in hindsight there was a grain of snideness in the manner he treated people that's easy to overlook.

You can't detransition if you never really transitioned in the first place. Derp.

Also, apologies for the unintentionally attention whoring. I'll work on it. If I bring myself up in this thread though it's only to compare my experiences vs cosmo's, to educate people on the difference between a real transition and a botched one. That's all.

If someone asks a specific question you can answer because of your experiences go nuts. Otherwise, nobody really cares. Most of the posters here can acknowledge the difference between someone who is actually trans versus a troon. The ones who don't are either just shitposting and don't actually care, or they're the type of people who have already made up their minds. We have other trans posters here, it's really not a big deal. It also doesn't take someone who is trans coming in to explain Cosmo is just a dude dressing up like his grandma and not legitimately trans.

Anyway, to get back on topic, Cosmo still has some fans in the speedrunning community. During one of the ESA runs for their recent Movember event, one of the runners briefly mentioned Cosmo, even going so far as to call him Narcissa, and not even in a mocking way. For those only familiar with GDQ, ESA doesn't have the same hugbox reputation, so that's really saying something.

I don't think he'd ever be able to capture his former glory, but if he wasn't such an asshole he could get that attention and love he claims he wants. Randomized Zelda runs have been pretty popular for awhile now in the Zelda community, I bet if Cosmo joined a few of those races, which are hosted pretty frequently, he'd be accepted back into the community pretty quick. They're still respected runs because it takes a lot of knowledge of the game to adjust to the randomization/bingo elements, but because of that it's also a lot more fun and accessible for viewers, since more often than not it ends up being a bunch of community members hanging out instead of seriously grinding the same run over and over just to shave off a few seconds.

Cosmo clearly needs a community, but he can't expect the community to be based entirely around him. All that being said, I don't actually expect him to do any of these things because it would be positive steps in the right direction, just wanted to highlight the fact that he continues to squander the opportunities available to him.

That's an interesting idea. Cosmo possibly does feel as though he's ostracized from his "own" community of speedrunning simply because of how he came from a position of prominence within it. If I remember correctly, wasn't his pretentious poetry jam about speedrunning essentially about how he feels like he needs to constantly break records to maintain his relevancy? It's a good explanation for why he's done so many scummy things recently to advertise himself--such as editing a speedrunning archive to focus on his own speedruns and locking the admins out, making up nonsense categories to claim he has the world records in them, or the constant attempts to garner pity. He's a man whose whole identity was built upon the attention he received; now that this attention is gone, he feels as though his identity was lost with it. At the very least, it poetically fits his newly formed "Narcissa" persona--he's trying to start over with another attempt to reform a new yet familiar identity based around garnering attention, and it's working. He's a laughingstock, but his clown makeup has gotten him the attention he's been striving for all along. Why else would he regularly frequent this thread, and respond directly to posters within it?

It's entirely possible that he feels alien to any community because they don't immediately place him on a pedestal like they did when he was an important member of the speedrunning community. That's probably why, rather than earning people's respect through being a good person, he simply demands it and fails to understand why he's so disliked. Discovering all that ridiculously specific techniques regarding speedrunning just made him popular overnight, and now that his 15 minutes of fame are up, he's frustrated because he can't recapture lightning in a bottle again instead of having to work for his popularity. This was a man whose name was synonymous with the growing speedrunning community, who was invited directly by Nintendo to attend a promotional event for the world to see just due to the notion that he was who he was, and now he's just some nobody whose biggest audience is...well, us.

It's probably also why he's banking all of his money on Smash. He was a good Zelda in Melee, and people are saying Zelda is a good character in Ultimate. He sees an opportunity to become a well-known and liked figure in the Smash community through his success as a Zelda player, similarly to how John Numbers got popular for likewise playing a niche character. To Cosmo, it's his last chance to catch that lightning in a bottle one last time. But there's little reason to believe he'll rekindle his popularity overnight, nor that he'll put in the dedication to establish himself.

That being said, Cosmo's life would make one hell of a story in a modernist novel as a classic tale of man versus himself. But since his story is anything but fiction, it's really just sad.

He didn't quite realise it then but he actually fucked himself out of any sort of upswing in popularity from Smash months ago. His perma-ban from Twitch not only means that he can never stream there again, it means he can't be on anyone elses stream at all either. 95% of the Smash streaming community is on Twitch, and they all have to go out of their way to avoid him entirely because they'll get punished by Twitch if he appears on their stream. His little bitch fit Twitch-suicide stream essentially exiled him from that community before the game even launched.
