Spending months in "boredom purgatory" waiting for this game can't be great for expectations. You'd think that if you were actually serious about becoming competitive you'd be playing the earlier smash games while you waited. The situation reminds me of obsessing and posting about the latest unreleased game as a young teen, the hype and speculation was often more fun than the game itself.

Those are 100% odds, very bad payout. How long did he play BotW? A little longer, but he was irrelevant almost instantly, doing stupid categories nobody else would do.

Cosmo was actually halfway decent at smash, however i agree with what was stated earlier in the thread that they consistently try to play lower-tier characters for his own autistic reasons and refuses to accept/adopt to the meta.

Cosmo might have been kinda decent but, it has been hinted that our boy Numbers is already practicing with a pirated/leaked copy of the game a friend of his has, and it has been confirmed that this time he wants to main a good/meta character and not wii fit trainer, seems to be leaning towards Inkling.

I am trying not to be excited because Narc might end up never playing Numbers again but, I think that's the move to make if you want to become relevant in Smash Ultimate (at least within the farms).

If his last performance against Numbers is anything to go by, I doubt Numbers would even waste his time. Cosmo was emasculated in front of the entire nintendo world, and he has not been training for a comeback. It would just make Numbers a bully.

Narcissa could somehow stumble on the right amount of drugs to make himself into a Smash prodigy and it wouldn't matter because in order to go competitive he'd have to be social and interact with the community, and even leave his room to participate in events.

The best possible case scenario for him is he manages to attract a larger audience, despite not using Twitch or doing anything to promote the fact he's trying to be a streamer. Even if this miracle happens, I don't think he'd be able to retain even a small percentage of new viewership because of both his general attitude and the fact they'll quickly lose interest if he's not trying to be competitive. It becomes even less likely when you realize an established franchise like Smash already has some well known competitive players, so the majority of his potential audience likely already has their favorites and will be watching them.

I'm still hoping Rapp comes back at somepoint and her thread will rise from the ashes. In regards to Cosmo, he really is his own worst enemy. One of the more interesting things to me about Cosmo is the fact that before he dived into the Narcissa hole, he really did have what he wanted. Even today, the dude is relatively e-famous in his online circles, and for good reasons, not just his freakouts. If he didn't have his breakdown, he'd have what he claims he wants now, his own community that's more or less dedicated to him. I don't think it would be particularly large, but I could see him being around the 600-800 average viewer range.
