I don't know how you haven't heard about him. Kid is fast in everything he gets in, his ability to maximize traction under braking is fucking unreal.
I must be living in a rock dude cause the last time they put in someone this young was either Ty Gibbs because of his last name or Casey Atwood because of the shits and giggles but damn. I hope this kid doesn't become a flash in the pan.

That is, when he isn't ARCA braking into his teammate who is running out of talent right in front of him.

Yes, but I wouldn't assign blame in that incident to him. Amigo never heard of hold the brakes, I guess.

It took Katherine Legge FOUR LAPS to spin on her own. The commentators basically said she doesn't know how to drive these cars in the most polite way possible.

She's such a wheelman, she's crashed and finished dead last in every series she's raced in!

I'm watching some Br*tish commentating the race for funsies and one of them said "Prediction: Legge stays on the lead lap" immediately before this. very funny.

There's plenty of other series for her to hit the wall in.
I wouldn't mind that. It's basically trying to kill a guy like she did in Indycar that bugs me.

Important race update, Cody Ware is currently beating a woman, which is a situation he is extremely comfortable with.

What's happened to Ty Gibbs? Sure, he's not the number 1 driver in the best equipment anymore, but all his talent seems like it's fallen off a cliff. His aggression, too. Carson Hocevar is who I thought Grandbaby Ty would be right now.

Either everyone started pushing back at his bullshit, or he's finding out he can't with without the bullshit.

I don't know if Christopher Bell got possessed by 1997 Jeff Gordon or what, but the guy is on fire. He's got the personality of a wet paper towel, but the guy can drive a car.

And then watch him get micky moused by joey logano for the championship 4

Now that the dust has settled, can we agree using a provisional waiver on her was a waste of time? She went down 2 laps every stage and spun out on her own. If Nascar brass wanted to celebrate International Womens day so bad they should have had helped get Toni Breidinger hooked up with a ride for the Xfinity race. Maybe try and rope Victorias Secret into sponsoring her again, just for the day. The VS scheme she ran in trucks a couple years ago was slick, and would look great back in the garage after Toni posts a respectable P27.

I'm all for egalitarianism. Whoever can make the field, makes the field. But provisionals not so much. With (most of) the recent crop, if there was a part on the car or a setup trick that had as high a crash rate as 'putting a chick in the car' it'd be banned in weeks.

I actually don't want it to be that way, but it is.

If Nascar does have a sucessful crop of female drivers they're all going to be the daughters of Cup superstars. Decades ago, it looked like Kelley Earnhardt might be the one, but she ended up gravitating to the business side of things on her own accord by the time she was in her early twenties.

And, more importantly, they need to not fall into the Danica Patrick complacency trap. As soon as a female driver makes it to Cup, she's got sponsorship and attention for life, guaranteed. It's very hard to have the drive to get better when you know you've got a ride in the top series for as long as you want because of what's between your legs.

Can someone explain to me why Bubba Wallace gets so much attention when he’s a mid driver that doesn’t look to be breaking out anytime soon. Am I missing something?
