Being a Hocevar fan is unending pain with occasional laughs.
Close ones for Hocevar two weeks in a row. He was at least able to fuck over Wallace as a consolation prize.
Bubba fucked himself over, Hocevar has no blame there, Bubba tried to block Hocevar's run, fucked it, and then ended up in 8th. Bell got screwed over worse than Wallace and I put the blame on Chastain over Hocevar in that case.

Bubba has an unending love of throwing late blocks late in the race and then getting dumped when the guy he's blocking holds his line. According to him and the small number of redditors who still think it's 2020, it's never his fault. The vast majority of us are just shrugging our shoulders at him making another stupid late-race move and ruining a chance at a good finish. Bubbles loves nothing more than putting his foot in his mouth and blowing races where he has a good chance to win.

Saw this on the NASCAR reddit. Archive

Denny Hamlin and Chris Chan went to the same highschool, Denny was class of 99, Chris was class of 2000.

Bubba had a sperg moment on track today, spinning Hocevar for no real reason, collecting himself and a bunch of other cars, and taking himself out of the race. Booth understandably assumed Hocevar had done something to warrant bubba's anger, given Carson's history, but nope, Bubba just got pissy Hocevar made it 3 wide.
Bubba claimed he "misjudged it" into the corner when he spun Carson.

Bubba has a long history of chimping out that has gotten brushed under the rug because of 2020. Even now, when fans and sponsors don't care about the almighty nigger anymore, they don't put the camera on Bubba and the commentators don't talk about him much.

Kyle Petty may not have won a race with the Hot Wheels car but hot damn this was my favorite set of paint schemes as a kid.

Emplemon released a new NASCAR video today. On the surface it's about Austin Dillon, but in truth it's more about the Playoffs and why they were such dogshit. Amazing video.

He got a lot of mileage out of his good sponsors. I heard him say a while back he gets randos he meets mentioning his very brief turn on/sponsorship by WWE to him about as often as they mention, you know, him being Kyle Petty.

It's cool how just being on one episode of Nitro and people will remember that years later but then again when you're part of the nWo and hanging with Hulk Hogan that kind of helps.

Hocevar wins his first ever Cup Series Race at Talladega, and does his victory lap halfway out the window.

Chili's better get off their ass and get the licensing deal finalized so we can have a race win diecast of this car.

Spent every one of the remaining laps waiting for the other shoe to drop and for something to go wrong. Very happy that Carson got his first Cup win, feels fitting for it to be at Talladega. This also brings him up to eighth in the point standings.

I've got one ordered too, not springing for anything insane just getting a base version. Only Lionel 1/24 I ever plan on getting because 80 bucks a pop is ludicrous.

I get them VERY rarely because they are expensive, but I understand I'm getting a one time production collectible and they gotta make ends meet.

I ordered autograph versions for the Trackhouse guys (one each) and a Tyler Reddick Daytona dual autograph for his Jordan car win.

I'll order one more (Michigan race winner since it'll be my first race attended in person) but outside something crazy like this I don't see myself ordering many.

I did get the Premier Elite because I'm a sucker who overpays for things, but Hocevar in the Chili's car at Talledega is such a crazy combo of hype I won't regret it.

I only ordered the 1/64. Just can't rationalize it in my head to splurge that much for a diecast.

I wouldn't normally, but I really like Hocevar and I know a year from now if I didn't preorder, it would be well over 160 bucks for the base version. Only Lionel 1/24 I plan on getting new, still hope to pick up a Austin Dillon 2025 Bass Pro car eventually, though.

I also really considered it because I'm a big Hocevar fan. This is the first Lionel diecast I'm ordering after mainly collecting Robby Gordon and Tony Stewart cars.
