That does raise a interesting question though. It's pretty clear the mother is pretty uninterested in raising a kid and his father seems to have given up a long time ago. It's clear Nate never really had a chance with his parents and mental disability. Just how much effort would his parents be willing to put forth to keep them from getting into legal trouble from four different websites?

They probably receive some form of compensation for looking after him instead of having him hold up in a group home. His mental capabilities in videos show that he's on the upper end of what they allow into their homes and other than his threats of violence, he's less violent.

As much as I commend your efforts in this thread and with Nate in general, don't you think that this is.. Excessive? I mean, if Nate has proven anything, it's that he is utterly ineffectual in executing on his threats, and his worst behavior has been socking to change some minor autistic details on some wikis, with the obligatory tantrums whenever he gets discovered, now as annoying as this can get for any mods who have to deal with him, it's really not worth involving the cops, much less doxing yourself to them, and risking your dox appearing on court databases should things ever get that far.

Two things:

1. I agree, he's generally impotent to actually hurt anyone physically, I'm not worried about that. However, he has proven willing to work with the same assholes who wanted to destroy Null any way they could and has tried to hire hackers before. He might be an inept asshole, but his contempt for the law has only grown with age directly inverse to his remaining sanity.

2. Nate has come very close, and I mean VERY close, to other people doing all this as a result of his lessened compulsion to respect any legal restraints, and more than one of these parties has requested I be willing to do what I said I would, so it would be out of my hands to legally refuse to cooperate if it came that far anyway, and let's be frank, this asshole has already admitted to me if he had any of my personal deets, he would spread them to the far winds, including my SSN, to anywhere he thought doing so could cause me physical or other harm.

When he was just spewing impotent deaths threats, I agree with you all, he was harmless.

Now he's willing to break privacy laws and work with scum who tried to ruin the lives of the owner of this site and that of his family, and the only reason he couldn't do damage then was because he didn't have the information they needed, otherwise he would have done so in an instant.

I've also heard from other sources that one recorded instance of Nate trying to hire hackers was not the only one, other records of other attempts have surfaced, and certain parties are taking them far more seriously than I am.

I would have to agree with this, the wiki pages he spergs on would give him a lot of targets to try and ruin. It would probably be best for all of those involved to just nip it in the ass before it becomes a worse problem. Nate has only shown that he will escalate things and there's no family filter like other wikispergs.

Also, note that he actually dug up the numbers to call them about it, so I still think you should be careful if you're still planning what you're planning. But other than that, yeah, he's perfectly capable of being civil and carrying a conversation with other people, with nary an exclamation mark in sight.
