I found more info on Nate.

According to Nate, he said that his account got hacked by someone. And this video shows that hes right. The channel haven't been touched in 9 years:

The chat contains Nate raging and spamming the chat. While enig and candy tell him to stfu and act like a reasonable adult. And one of the people keeps muting and Unmuting Nate because of him spamming.

I remember this. Mibbit is terrible, so I switched to using Icechat so my connection would stay stable. I saw little need to comment at the time, it would have been drowned out in the mass amounts of deranged spamming.

I'm showing up to set a few things straight.

I have personally spoken with Mr. Spidgewood's parents by phone, and they have confirmed their child was severely autistic since a very young age and has had a long history of acting mentally imbalanced and unable to function properly in most social contexts as a result.

They have informed me their son is a very disturbed young man who is currently on high amount of anti-depressants and other related medications for issues that have persisted to torment him since childhood, and those mental health problems have not obviated with age.

Their son also deals very poorly with being mocked online because he basically has trouble making friends in real life and lashes out because he cannot deal with the rejection when he encounters such things like trolling and the like.

As an autistic myself (though one who is arguably much better off and had access to better treatment at an earlier age), this is sadly a normal and recurring problem for autistics, as many crave social interaction but find it hard to pick up on social cues and/or adjust to difficult social situations, and my profound sympathy goes out towards Mr. Spidgewood, as his issues are more severe than my own with the same by many orders of magnitude.

His parents have confessed to me they have desired things like Nate's page on Encyclopedia Dramatica and other places be taken down in their son's best interests, and while I sympathize, I explained to them (and they acknowledged) no laws are being broken by discussing the public activities of someone on public fora (which is especially true as Nate is an American citizen), and Nate would be best served by not engaging places that speak of him in a derogatory fashion.

The purpose of my contacting of Nate's parents was to inform them I was tiring of their son's constant unsolicited death threats and harassment, and that if I did not have the FBI contacted to deal with him, he was also wearing thin the patience of TV Tropes, which Nate has long attacked (by repeated and malicious vandalism and has even attempted cybercrime by trying to hire a hacker to damage their database), and they were on the brink of doing the same if they did not get their son under control, and with their promises to do their best to keep him away from either myself or TV Tropes, I informed his parents I would ask TV Tropes take their word they would restrain their son from performing anymore malicious actions against their site or userbase, and neither of us would invoke the authorities, to which I'm relieved to say neither of us has had to go that far.

To this point, I have not received anymore unsolicited emails with Nate stating a desire to commit my homicide and TV Tropes' staff (whom I keep in contact with) have not informed me of further incidents in which Mr. Spidgewood has continued to harass them or attempt to damage their infrastructure.

As for my take on this recent situation, my advice is for Mr. Nate Spidgewood to cease any interaction with the parties attempting to use him for their own ends, in the interest of his continued legal freedom and for the sake of his remaining sanity, and for whose soul I continue to pray for peace upon.
