Datura innoxia, known as pricklyburr, recurved thorn-apple, downy thorn-apple, Indian-apple, lovache, moonflower, nacazcul, toloatzin, toloaxihuitl, tolguache or toloache, is a species of flowering plant in the family Solanaceae.

native americans would take the seeds and flowers of this plant, and use them to brew a special ritual tea. after consuming it, they would be able to divine knowledge from the earth.

have you heard about this before @Miss Tommie Jayne Wasserberg? i think it would be cool to try it out sometime

I wonder if Tom's ever tried to manipulate his way into a real Peyote ceremony. I can imagine him wanting to earn what he perceives to be hippy cred, late-comer that he is to the freak party (you weren't there in 69, Tom!). He's also a degenerate drug addict and imagines that a native ceremony will involve getting really high and having a great time while he tries to isolate one of the younger members.

Too bad for him that as a paleface (at least in my experience) you have to be really fucking cool with a group of natives for them to want you anywhere near the meeting. And it's not a good time, at least not in a partying type sense. At least he wouldn't have any problems when encountering his shadow; he's such a narcissist there wouldn't be any demons for him to wrestle with.
