Ive come to love this fucking comic. I dont even know what is going on with me or about it, is it ironic, is it satire, is it genuine? But there's like a mental thing, there's so many thoughts and emotions going on in my brain when I read it. I cant even parse my feelings out myself but it always leaves me smiling. It's just so silly.

It reminds me of shit I used to draw in like, middle school. I drew this comic that was basically those old "Stick Figure Combat" flash animations in comic form, and it was vulgar and full of swearing and teenage frustration and violence to the point of absurdity just for absurdity's sake. My friends and I would get together and come up with shit to go in it and we would all pass it around to our other friends in class and all laugh at it.

It's kind of like a "Blue Bell tastes just like the good old days" kind of thing. I dont know.

I mean look at the panel with the anime, fuckin like "whscheeeew" effect. It's the webcomic equivalent of a little boy playing with toys and he gets Goku and Hulk Hogan and slams Hulk into Goku and throws Goku across the room and he's like "YEAH Dont fuck with the Hulkster BROTHER" except instead of Hulk Hogan he took his sister's Barbie and it's Barbie kicking Goku's ass but he's scribbled like, a hammer and sickle across Barbie's thigh and sharpie'd her hair black.

He actually has a decent sense of webcomic composition too(which I would argue is it's own thing), like, those top two panels -- you can see the decisions behind it. I dont read webcomics outside of "Bad Webcomic" threads so Im basing it on being versus Ctrl Alt Delete or something where he would have 4 panels and would basically re-draw the scene and reset it each frame then just add more text or something.
 
I found out recently that Racecar Johnny is a meme on /fit/. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

Not surprised at all. They seem like the board that would appreciate him the most aside from /sp/.
 
AUGH YEAH It warms my heart to see Steve once again pumping out these one-shots with Natty saying something totally unrelated to what she's doing.

Edit: So I wanted to go back and double check this to be sure. But in none of his comics where he makes a claim about an incident has any sort of actual sourcing, or even half assed attempted at sourcing. I ain't even asking for much just somethin more then nothing. Also I am already gonna guess the answer to this, but has he every had a woman been proven wrong/killed by his OC? I am guessing no because that would prompt violence against women or just does not want to acknowledge that some women may hold views he would have to kill them for.

As a woman I am seriously offended, we can have terrible opinions and commit minor transgressions and get horribly murdered for them too.
 
Idea, possibly autistic: tweet to him increasingly graphic sadosexual depictions of cartoon troons tormenting normal people as revenge for increasingly innocuous microaggressions. See if he takes the hint or misses it entirely.
 
I must admit the series is begining to grow on me, it's like the dirt cheap fried chicken place near my home-it's total shittyness is not without charm.

For me it's not the shittyness of the content itself so much as it is the shitty content combined with the decent-ish art style and absolutely hyperbolic violence which has made the comic become endearing in my eyes. Regardless of whether his comics are intended to be satire, I hope he never stops drawing.
 
Perception really is everything. I went back over a bunch of the Natty comics wanting to like them and it was an absolutely amazing time. It really is beautiful.
