This isn't the first time a lolcow has used sockpuppets to this degree. Ahuviya Harel aka ADF aka Philip Haskins Delicci has used sockpuppets to great lengths plenty of times in the past, though later these turned out to be headmates of his (Yet still treats them like they're real people. Fucker even had a funeral for one of them). Since mental illness is pretty rampant among the left side of the political spectrum, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this was the case with Steve.

That Facebook page is pretty much one big ass echo chamber. I remember seeing a few Libertarian/Hoppean AnCap meme pages talking about raiding Steve's Natty page, but so far I haven't seen anything come to fruition.

A fairly autistic group I happen to be in (Epic Department Waiting Room) discovered the page last Summer and "raided" it by spamming Nattycomic's inbox with dumb messages and occasionally leaving stupid comments on their comics. Obviously the ones who directly messaged, or commented on posts from, Nattycomics got blocked by that page almost immediately. However, at least for a couple weeks, Nattycomics would reply with some half-assed insult (i.e. "I see your political beliefs are shit just like you are") before blocking.

Here's where it gets weird: People would also share stuff from that page. People who commented on those shares talking about how dumb the comics were got blocked by Nattycomics. If one of the people sharing something from that page added a caption talking about how dumb the comic was and one of their friends 'liked' their post, Nattycomics would block that person's friend. In fact, anyone who interacted in any way with anything negative pertaining to Nattycomics would get blocked.

There's still a running belief that the whole Nattycomics page is actually a very elaborate satire (because the comments asking "is this satire?" would be literally immediately removed and blocked) but of course we'll never really know.
