And it took 8 days for Gaben to remove the vandalism, but never bothered to block the user who did the said vandalism. I think it's safe to say that Gaben has somewhat given up on his Nava-verse considering he never bothers about it much anymore.

I wonder where did Moleman find this pic. It looks like a quick render made in some 3d modelling program, but the starship sprites and the explosions were clearly pasted from some other source.

Hey, some ass from /tg/ here.

The ships are from Wing Commander.
The moon in the background is from the Necrons, from Warhammer 40,000.
The cinematic is from a shitty PSX game (I'm almost entirely sure it's from Missile Command).
The explosions and lasers were added from RPGMaker.

It's kind of amusing when someone shows even less creativity than Chris.

The funniest thing is that according to Moleman himself, he can get a free pass for being lazy in creating backgrounds because he's not profiting from it. :stupid:

You know, on a franchise which he hoped that he will expand to become a full-blown franchise which he had 100% confidence it will succeed (note the past tense) and disliked other people for "undermining" his work which he "spent lots of work" on it.

Reminded me of Jaarfindor, which was invented by another lolcow. (Short summary: Sean Wright was basically the British equivalent of Robert Stanek - writing terrible novels through vanity press and tried to hock them online. The major differences were: 1. his writing was apparently not entirely terrible, in that some reviewers actually said "meh, it had a few good ideas", and 2. instead of flooding Amazon with fake five-star reviews, he instead sold "premium editions" to suckers, with signatures and everything, and told them to not read the books but keep them in prime condition because they'd rise in value in future. ...just more proof that there's seriously one born every minute, as they say.)
 
So I found the source of that Death Star-esque moon thanks to some bros on /tg/. It's the World Engine, part of a Necron story for Warhammer 40K done on /tg/ some time ago. You can see that moon straight away in the title page for it.

I knew I'd find it eventually. As for those lasers:

Vampirism in the Nava-verse

Vampirism is the need or want to specifically consume large quantities of blood. Side effects generally include an aversion to sunlight, and the condition encourages the development of large, sharp teeth. Two known vampiric races are the peaceful Wabacawlers and the evil Xamenrufs. An example of a vampiric demon is the Rorynth. The mutant Wabacawler Denfumia was afflicted by an advanced, unique, Xamenruf–like form of vampirism.

Oooh. This is pretty interesting for a universe filled with rape monsters, OP monsters and ripoffs. Let's see what we got:

Wabacawlers are the humanoids of planet Finngaed. They are vampires who are friendly in spite of their vampirism and do not "feed" on innocent humanoids, instead consuming the blood of animals such as Teddkrutches and, at worst, their own dead. The vampiric aspect of the Wabacawlers is believed to be a result of the influence of the evil Omega Octant in which they live, and for succeeding as a people in resisting the urge to become bloodsucking monsters, they have been blessed to sparkle in sunlight rather than being harmed by it, though many others have deemed them to look stupid when sparkling.

Xamenrufs are hostile vampiric humanoids native to Crucbicile that live in the icy, frigid regions near the planet's South Pole. They are considered similar in nature to the Ebonorates. Xamenrufs do not initially require the blood of others to remain alive, but they actively and endlessly desire it as it makes them stronger, and as a result become more dependent on it later in life, to the point that it actually does become a need for survival. Their victims, which consist mainly of Adbamnants, are generally sucked completely dry and thus killed. Being evil vampires, Xamenrufs are directly harmed by sunlight and can even be outright killed by it. This is the reason they have settled down in a region where little sunlight gets through and centralized their population there.

...can we go back to the nice, easy-to-read maps of CWCville? This looks like a game board for the Navaverse version of Risk.
