I never knew Nayolfa was the dude that did that thumbnail on that Dr Wolf Enter video. o_O

Is that blood dripping from the horse mouth? this is just getting sick Kyle.
I have no clue what it is, but it's definitely not that. I should have spent more time for the colors on the mouth. But I don't really put too much effort on quickies like that.

I didn't do the thumbnail for it, I actually spent 2-3 months doing the entire video.

I believe it was during that project that MrEnter and I started to talk and play games.

You kinda need to work on legs, they look a bit short in a lot of your drawings.

The Steven Universe one looks impressive to me honestly. You captured the style well.

I usually try to replicate the style of something whenever I do fan art. The entirety of the "fuck awful pony comic" I made was to try to replicate MLP's style digitally.

I went from this shit - http://nayolfa.deviantart.com/art/Clean-up-on-Smile-Five-PG-1-409275921
To this - http://nayolfa.deviantart.com/art/Clean-Up-on-Smile-Five-PG-12-453068025
And after I was happy with how I did the style, I stopped and moved on to something else.

I wish Growing Around looked more fun visually. I think it's trying too hard to be realistic and it just makes it look less visually pleasing to me. I mean if it looked more like your other work and more like a cartoony cartoon, I think that'd be a step in the right direction.

I wish I could develop a style to make Growing Around look better too, but production already started for the pilot. But if I have the "Eureka" moment for a better style, I'll definitely implement it before the first episode is being animated.

I guess I should work on anatomy and stuff in the mean time.

Yeah. Just keep in mind that if the idea ever takes off in some shape and form that you gotta make it appealing to kids in all aspects, visuals included.

Think back to what cartoons you really enjoyed growing up and what many other kids liked too and go from there and think about the variety of cartoons in the past that have been successful and even get inspiration from different print cartoonists too. I'd even play around with the designs and do quick doodles of the characters on some notebook paper for fun.

I definitely have been planning on doing that. Like I said, Growing Around's pilot is basically a practice run. Were improving everything that we know we need to during the production of the pilot.

prove it wrong
I can't prove the statement wrong and you can't prove it right. When a statement is based on your preferences it makes it your opinion.

You know where I'm about to tell you to go yiff, right furguy?
