I didn't know about it until earlier this year either. If they ever decide to branch out and start appealing to the broader Neocities userbase, such as with webrings and a campaign like Yesterweb's "Say No to Web3", they would definitely gain more traction. At first I thought their obscurity was due to the Discord server being 18+, but it seems their users are just as mentally ill as the underaged genderspecials. It's something to keep an eye on for sure.

It'd be a shame if they did. So far they've been mostly alright hosting lots of fringe shit. While I disagree with them removing plusnigger, it's was explicitly written with the intent to be censored where the premise is all western corporations are compromised by globohomo ideology. If the premise was incorrect, the page would have stayed online.
While we're on this subject, I think that there should be a +NIGGER 2.0 that stipulates that the Nigger should be "prominently displayed in it's own paragraph" and cannot be as part of another word or sentence (eg. I don't care what people do, if you engage with the license in any way including the mere act of thinking about it, I've already won.
