There's nowhere for the NeoFAGs to go other than Discord.

Reddit they think is too right-wing, and even the most vitriolic of Social Justice communities thinks they're a shithole.

GameFAQs was cool with GG fucking existing and basically tolerates shitposting, so that's straight out.

Pretty much every other community they could have taken cover in is either dead and gone or won't let them in.

Good.

The best part is that no community would actually block them from entering, the neogaffers just wouldn't handle normal discourse between people. And either sperg out at mods not banning the evil person who said "I disagree" or just silently leave.

What I think will happen is that it's users will split up into different communities, some will handle opposing opinions better than others and adopt to a slightly less hugboxy site, some won't, etc.

I made some friends in one of the community threads.
There were cool people and comfy threads in certain parts of the site, even if the overall site was full of garbage. I don't think its out of question to find some sense of loss out of it all.

In seriousness, I'm sure there are people who made fond memories there.

I assume the farms will (or more likely already have) absorb any members that are worth talking to and the rest will end up circle-jerking each other on Instagram until the heat death of the universe.
