Me too, and I just cope with the fact that there are some things I can no longer do as an old fuck. I am going to get my ass handed to me by 12 year olds in any FPS unless I change strategy to make my experience cover my now-sad hand-eye coordination. There's a reason you just don't see people outside of their 20s playing vidya games competitively.

Sometimes you just have to cope with the fact not everything in life is for you and sometimes age and lack of time is going to mean you can't even do something well that you used to do well.

And at that point an adult will just cope with that instead of screaming and crying like an absolute fucking baby about how unfair it all is.

It's hard to astroturf some bullshit thing like pimping shitty trash like Sunset if you can watch what's being said in real time and what the game actually looks and plays like. Even a paid shill can't make a turd look good on a playthrough. Being able to refund shit also helps. The "games journalists" are angry that they're completely irrelevant and when they try to pimp some crap now, everyone just ignores them and goes and plays some politically incorrect game they actually want to play.

This is because you take self-responsibility and change/move on. You either know your limits, or you keep trying if you'd like.

Resetera expects the whole world to change for them when they piss their pants and go online to scream into a void how they can't get past the start screen of a game.

I have no doubts a lot of this is to do with autism, but it's still up to low-functioning autists to get help outwith demanding the world changes for them.

If I was a billionaire, I would commission those two for assistance in making a game - They understand difficulty and skill, and would have excellent insight into how to make a game accessible without removing teeth.

And it'd be phenomenal to watch the accessibility-whiners get demolished by that game.

All games should have an "retard mode". Sure the main draw of games like Sekiro is learning and mastering the mechanics but fuck that, just add invincibility. And make it a modifier, not a cheat code, that way the shitters won't have their feelings hurt when using it and watching the game play itself.

Multiplayer games should do this too. Keep getting fucked up in Rainbow Six Siege? Boom, activate God Mode so other players can't kill you anymore. This will also make e-sports more inclusive too, now players without skill will be able to join teams of professionals and contribute by one-hit killing everything! Fuck people who spend hundreds of hours mastering fighting games that's the absolute opposite of inclusive. Boom, now they die in one hit.
